PostSubject: An Entitys' presence, an Emporers' struggles. (Kevvx x Eldarwen)   Wed Feb 03, 2010 8:14 pm

((Ok so if we dont know the rules we need some serious help.

Plot: A beast never seen on this soil at all or anythin even remotely like him in truth, finally finds his way there. Kevv heard of the place but well, he hadn't been able to get himself here, to check things out for his own eyes. Though now that he did get here, what will happen? What could possibly happen to a creature so strange and powerful? fr well he isnt invincible of course. Though the place seems alright, theres no telling what could come forth..... thus it remains to just be seen what could come of this, whether it be good or foul.

Setting: Its almost midnight in a forest. The forest sits near a more busy city, though of coruse this late at night not too much tends to go on in such places. The forest is normally harmless to most, just full of critters and small game. Though it might hold more then the eye can percieve...... A stream runs through the forest in the thicker parts. ((And yes if this is crappy sue me. I havent started stuff like this in.... an extremely long time LOL))))

The trees gave a sudden stir and shudder. The currents of wind stirred more, seeming to circulate around one point rather. The space around where the wind moved stirred heavily, the air seeming to visibly ripple... it a highly unnatural sight. Rather soon enough the tip of a golden blade seemed to materialize in the air... then seemed to rip downward. Ripping apart the space around it, opening a rift. Out of that came a strange sight too... Rather the cloaked figure fell on one knee with a sigh. The roft sealed shut once he was out. The cloak he rather threw aside, it simply was there to keep him warm in the rift. Him clad in a golden armor, jeweled in places, tough the jewels served a few purposes, not jsut for show. He shook his head and stood,wondering...where he had ended up.

Kevv sheathed his blade ebfore long, flicking his soft tail and standing tall. The smells and feelings on this planet were so strange and different that was for sure. He had never sensed such things in his life. It seemed alot of...humans? and elves too? Well he had seen such beings before but never so many in one place. Of course where eh came from was pretty much all dragons. Thus the fact there were so many other kinds of beings in one place was very strange and foreign to him. Was this more then he needed to be into? should he turn back? Kevv snoerted and scolded himself for such thoughts. "I needn't be fearful." he growled merely, flicking his long ears a bit. Trying to listen to his surrundings.

Kevv soon gave up on that though. He really heard nothing interesting, some deer perhaps.. but to him that was nothing. He went into thought a bit, thinking of his own priorities here.... well first, something to eat maybe. Then he wanted to see the dragonic races of this planet. Well being who he was, he wanted to help things..... it was why he had even came there. He wanted to see their race carry on as smooth as possible and thrive... and well, he tried t help everyone he could with such struggles. It was why his own planet did so well. He simply knew how to do things with this. Thus hearing of this planet he really wanted to see if he could aid them any here. He wasn't like other rulers, he wasnt restricted to his own land oh no. He was way too curious of a beast to be stuck in one place, he wouldn't have it. His counci hated such but well, they would get over it really.

He sighed softly, wondering what kinds of fruit was growing on this planet. Well he didnt eat meat at all, he was a complete vegetarian. Well he didnt like destroying life for his own benefit, thus the killing of game was quite out of the question. He sook his head a bit. He figuredhe would run into something sooner or later, he could hold off his hunger for now. Though he wondered as well, which form to wander in? This one might look a bit too prestigious. His more dragon form he reall didnt want to wander in either, things might end badly there, especially so near so many humanoids. Thus he soon casted. Rather his form nad armor both shifted. That form becoming more petit and more figured. His armor became a soft robe and clak merely to. As his male form shifted out, becoming...well female seemingly. Her color changing slightly too... Well she figured so long as she kept to herself she would have little troubles out there. Later she would shift to her normal form again. But for now this would work best. Thus she began to walk amoung the trees, considering many, many options.....

Slamming the door against the outer wall of the pub with a loud bang, Del'ure stormed out of the crowded, smelly place, cursing vividly as he did so. Some people were quite simple just too stupid for this world, or any other for that matter. Needless to say that the evening had not quite gone as he had planned, or at least hoped for. Grumpy, thus in a rather dangerous mood for his kind of being, Del'ure ran into the forest to hide within the comfortable darkness of the shadows. Not that night did not make it dark enough already, but with the pub door wide open, the light of the inside was illuminating a rather big circle and the demon was in no mood to have anyone in the bar follow him. They could always try but it would end very, very badly for them and tonight was not the night for making a mess. There had been too many male hormones in that place for this to turn out profitable in any way. Not much he could do though, he would quite simply have to think of something better. His mission was not dead yet.

He leaned against a big tree trunk, reconsidering what had just happened and trying to figure out what his next moves could be. His sources had told him that the person he was seeking was to be found here, which was true enough. His source only had neglected to mention that this particular person was surrounded by a bunch of angry little male bodyguards. Del'ure sighed, it could all have been so much easier had this been a female. They were attracted to him like moths to a flame and usually always willingly gave up everything with one batting of eyelashes. Men, on the other hand, were that little bit harder to convince to trust him, especially when they were in groups such as this. Almost as soon as he had entered the pub, a wave of hostile feelings had hit him and he had already known that it was the indicator for a night gone bad, yet, as usual, he had been unable to resist temptation and wanted to see how far he could go. Pushing buttons slowly began to grow into one of his favourite activities. It had not taken long for him to tick them off, especially after they had caught a glimpse of his inhumanly green eyes, and they all had come at him at once. Of course, it had been rather easy for him to get away, even if he had chosen the cowardly exit, but he had not wanted to create a bloodbath, otherwise he would never get what he wanted from this person.

Angry at himself and the world, Del'ure punched his fist into the trunk in a gesture of frustration, before pushing himself away from the tree to walk further into the forest. The advantage with his cat-like eyes was that they gave him pretty good night vision, so the fact that the night was turning out to be pitch black in the forest did not bother him much. Things had not been going well lately, more often than not something went wrong and it was starting to seriously get on his nerves, which made all his missions even more difficult to handle. Shrugging away the negativity, Del'ure thought about what he might allow himself as a motivational reward, he grinned at his own mischievousness. This was going to be way too easy, but always fun. The question now was where to go to from here. Did he want to hunt in a small village, with more gullible people, or did he want to roam through a bigger city, making it more of a challenge? A shiver of anticipation ran down his spine as he turned into the direction of the nearest city with a sly smile on his face.

Yet before he had come very far, he stopped dead in his tracks. The sound that had pierced the night had not been an ordinary one, as if something huge had been ripped apart. What the hell was that?! Shifting his weight into a fighting stance, Del'ure observed his environment, trying to figure out what was going on here. Usually, there was not much traffic in these parts, even less at night. Not even that many wildlife was running about. Turning his head into the general direction of the noise, he was under the impression that something or someone was moving around. Grinning darkly, Del'ure straightened up, though still ready to fight if necessary, and suddenly, a bright flame lit up the darkness around him only to reveal a creature, very different from anything he had encountered so far. "Well, well, what have we here?" he snarled, looking the other up and down.

Kevv took her time really. She could her footfalls long before the demon got to him. His hearing quite unparalleled.... then again with all she had grown into and been through it was to be expected. Though the sensory of this demon was awkward to Kevv. Well this was a foreign place, thus for Kvv right then it was impossible for her to really tell Del'ures' intent. Not all demons were vile this Kevv knew, she had seen quiite a few himself. Xavien had been quite a nice male once not under so much stress. As had a few others. Though the number of good demons to bad was pretty bad of a ratio she still held out hopes for such races. Well there was no reason not to.... Kevv held out for any race really. Her likely the only beast to actually help Parasites at one point. Looking for the good in everyone indeed.....

Hearing this one however Kevv snorted. Well he definently didn't sound the nicest. Then again maybe he was mistaken. Well then how to answer him? What did this one need to know and what should she avoid telling him? She knew no one on this planet at all knew who she was. Should she keep it that way for now? She knew the knowledge of who she actually was could be....very dangerous in some hands. Thus well.... indeed this was a puzzling thing to ponder. Though it took Kevv a few seconds only to really think up anything to say. Well what as the worst that could happen? She doubted anyone on this planet would be able to get over her or subdue her at all. A foolish assumption, perhaps.

Kevv stood up a bit tall, flicking her tail slightly. "Well... that would depend how you look upon things." She told him, her voice soft and almost sweet, like powdered sugar. Yet there was a tone of solidity to it, like every word had infinite meaning. Deciding to keep things simple and yet puzzling. Well that tended to work the best with some she wanted to avoid, or well, it also worked to figure out ones' intellect too. Kevv kept the hood over her eyes, the end of her snout barely visible. Looking this being over, trying to figure him out. Him a bit appealing to the eyes in a more beastial manner of course. Though Kevv didn't think he would be her type really.... then again Kevv liked alot of different things. But well Kevv wasn't here to get a mate... she had more important matters. Matters a trivila thing like a mate couldn't get in the way of. She couldnt allow it at all. Though there was no real rush, but still, She wanted to keep somewhat focused.

As they spoke though Kevvs' mind wandered bigtime. Well she used such, touching life all over the place with his thought patterns and mind energies. Just investigating and exploring. She kept himself out of peoples' private thoughts and things though. Kevv wanted more then anything to just learn of the native beings on this planet and such. Like any Alien would want to know of who they saw on a foreign planet of course. Most would conasider Kevv an Alien wouldn't they? Though she was way more then just some simple alien that much was certain.... though really, the less the beings here knew of her own powers and her standing well, was the better for now. They needn't know Kevvs' purpose and things.... A powerful and prestigious beast indeed stood on these soils. Kevv didn't consider herself such though. She liked thinking of herself as well, like everyone else really. but she indeed mainly watched the demon before her. Waiting, thinking.......

Del'ure let his eyes wander over the being in front of him, very deliberately and obviously so. He had never had scruples in openly speaking his mind and much less when it came to eyeing up people, whether to enjoy the sight or disgustedly grunt at it. However, with this creature there was not much to tell seeing that most of the body was covered by a cloak. Even though it still quite generously fit around the outline of the female's body, it kept hidden most of it. The voice spoke volumes though. A kind of voice the demon felt comfortable hearing at a more regular basis, soft and promising niceties no human could imagine, yet still somehow authoritative, indicating that this was no sugar doll, freely bending to the will of any other being that appeared superior. Maybe the night was still looking up for Del'ure.

After all, he could not be cranky all night. Past mistakes and rather apparently failures were part of life, though usually not of his, but it did happen in very irregular lapses of time, so he should probably just make the best of it. And he did want to reward himself for not shedding any blood tonight... A mischievous grin spread across his face at that thought, just as the female before him replied to his question, choosing the perfect moment to come off as a complete jerk. His specialty indeed. "Oh I look on things in a very specific way indeed." The words were spoken in a low voice, almost a rumbling deep inside his throat. He stared at her, returning the gaze she had turned on him, wondering whether maybe, just maybe, she was much less harmless than he had at first thought. Imposing as she was, and considering her posture, he had not thought she'd be a docile lamb, though it seemed there was an untamed lion hidden somewhere beneath that cloak. He ought to be cautious.

Following her example really, he stood up straight. The mischievousness vanished from his face, only to be replaced by a smug curling of his lips. "I think you're one after my own mind. What good would it do if we spilled out exactly who and what we are to the first person we come across?" Pushing away all thoughts of jumping her bones, should she indeed reveal to be as delicious as everything had so far promised - after all, what was underneath might not be his type at all, another question formed on his lips. "I don't care much for the details, what I want to know I will find out anyway, that I can assure you. But I would care for your name, if you don't mind?" The demon pondered the possibilities, his next moves, yet couldn't quite settle for anything, unable to decide what he wanted to do himself. Despite his words, he wondered how it came to be that she was wandering about the forest in the middle of the night, on her own. It should probably give him another clue as to how vulnerable she really was.... not...

Kevv of course was silent, yet calculating. Seeing De'lures' eyes, she knew what he was looking at, knew likely the frame of mind he was within while looking at her too. This bothered her none. Kevv was well, extremely familir with being eyed up and other thnigs even, though most never got too far with what they wanted to do with her of course. His eyes really soke no different words to her. Though she had to admit, it was a bit of a surprise to be looked over like this already, not even five minutes upon this planet of course and low and behold, someone trying to see more then they need to.

Kevv snorted a bit at his words though, shaking her head a bit. His words slightly unsettling, though not to much so. "I see.... well for some, thats good." She said softly. Able to tell more then likely he was just trying to come off as something he might not be cmopletely with such words. Then again, Kevv knew she could be wrong too. She wasn't about to second-guess herself right then though. Not seeing a good reason to do so. Beginning to wonder of this being before her. Why was he really there? No one should just wander a forest so late at night. Yet here he was, like he did this all the time. Well if he did he was quite good with his words. His suggestiveness too, giving a darkish feel, yet one who knew how to hold themself as well. Kevv could tell he likely was trying to discern more of who she was and how she could be from his words, his eyes..... Well he was half right about it, Kevv was not someone to just come and pick on. Kevv knew she was a bit vulnerable at this point, for well, she had no idea what the beings on this planet were capable of. Plus she didn't want to hurt anyone if she could help it. Hating to cause any harm at all. Yet if one pushed things in the wrong direction well..... they might not make it long.

Kevv flicked her tail softly, seeing him stand more too. Almost amused by his efforts, yet showed no signs of such a feeling at all. Then again it'd be hard to see if she did, considering the cloak and such. His words of course made sense. "It would do no good whatsoever, truly." She said to him softly. something she knew all too well. Though his next words made her eyes narrow slightly. How was he to find out all he wanted to know? Well she doubted he would too easily. Though she didn't see why he shouldn't know hr name. "My name? I have many names ive been known by... but you... can call me Kevv." She said softly. Well she doubted her name too known here yet. Though she also knew, she could be far wrong on that, indeed many on many planets knew an inkling at least about her.... it puzzled her how such thigns and information traveled so far then again well, it wasnt too unreasonable either. Wondering what she was nideed getting into with this one. Glad her cloak was around ehrself, she knew from those eyes he might just like a bit too much, to see the form of ehr beneath. Then again many did, but well, she didn't mind being a nice object to eyes time to time at all. It felt nice sometimes really, to someone that had to be so straight and strong all the time to relax and be something different to others..... though it was a rare move for her indeed. Flicking her long ears, hearing unfamiliar noises, and some familiar ones too. This world a fine mix of familiar and unfamiliar elements it seemed. Which, Kevv liked alot..... much to see and explore, yet enough familiarity to keep her comfortable....

When she flicked her tail, Del'ure's eyes opened a little wider. How come he had not noticed it before? Cocking his head slightly to the right, he looked at her and said: "You're not like any being I have ever encountered before, and I have seen my share of creatures." It made him wonder how far she had traveled to get here, which brought him back to the question why she was wandering about in the middle of a forest in the dark of the night. He wasn't quite sure whether he should ask the question at this point already or if he should leave it until later. Maybe he would find out on his own, but it was indeed an intriguing thought. After not so careful consideration, he decided to simply burst out the question and get it over with. "You're not from around here, are you?" Though since they had just established that it was for the better not to reveal too much, he added: "Of course, you don't have to give me any details, I was just wondering out loud." After all, he was not planning on giving too much information on himself either, so he didn't expect her to tell him anything.

"Kevv... a rather unusual name for someone like you. I'd have imagined it to be something more... voluptuous maybe?" He winked at her, knowing without a doubt that she would not go for it. I shouldn't be doing this, he scolded himself. A little more seriousness couldn't hurt once in a while, especially at this moment in time. "My name is Del'ure and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," the demon offered, bowing slightly, though his eyes never left her form. It was a conditional habit never to let his opponent out of his eyes, whether they were enemies or not. Her name did not ring any bell at all, which he took as a good sign. At least, she was not one of those that were after his head, which was nice for a change. Lately, he had been dealing with too many headhunters out to spray his guts all over the floor, though he still had not quite managed to figure out why exactly that was. It was not like he had been more evil than usually in the past few months, so he was unsure where the sudden extreme hostility came from. Ah well, he would find out sooner or later. Maybe the next assassin would live long enough to tell his tale.

Anyway.. "How my I aid you, mylady? Is there some place I can escort you to?" He was almost surprised at his own snobbish behaviour, but somehow it was fun playing this part and he always liked to please a female, whether for ulterior motives or not. It never hurt and could open many doors for later on in life. Charm was such an oh so helpful way to get what you want and you never knew when it would come in handy to have a woman wrapped round the finger already. Most are so easily influenced, it was almost a shame, but he was taking too much advantage of this fact to really feel sorry about it. Kevv, on the other hand, was different, that much he could already tell from this so far rather brief encounter. But a promising encounter it was indeed.

Kevvs' soft gaze narrowed a bit, seeing De'lures' eyes widen some too. His words ones she heard alot in truth. Kevv knew she was like no one else She planned for it to more then likely be that way for a very long time too. She ahd went about alot of ehr life and well, no one typically compared to herself, no matter which form she took. She gave a soft giggle though.... able to tell that next question had een hed in for a little while. Though Kevv stood proud, deciding to be...well honest. "No, no im not from anywhere youll recognize." She told him. Pretty sure of that fact... doubting the ones on this planet had done mcuh traveling to other planets and thigns in their time just yet. Thus se had no reason to doubt herself there. "As for Detail, such wouldn't help to give you anyway... youd think me either crazy, or youd want to go, and well.... it would be too risky to take you there." She told him softly. Not needing to take another back to Dragons' Eye with her itd be a mess, especially if it was a demon like this being.

Kevv raised an eyebrow though at his words about her name. Though it inspired a giggle from her as well. "As I told you ive been called alot of things and names in my time so far... KEvv is just...short, and one ive had for a long while." she told him. "Though if you want somethin more female sounding, I have been called Diamond in more then one palce." She told him. Which was very true as well, that another name Kevv had liked, though well it also was the name of an odd stone. "As for your name.... well its quite a pleasure to meet you De'lure indeed." She said softly. Not caring much about his wink. Doubting he would be too interested anyway if he could see ehr full of course. Her not of his species at all thus well, for amny that was a turnoff. Though Kevv didn't care what species one might be of course..... but still her mind wasn't on that right now.

KEvv snorted though at those enxt words. "Milady? What kind of odd title is that?" She asked, laughing a bit too. That just sounded like a royal title almost... and well Kevv wasn't one for those. Not liking such special standings... though she might be the ruler of a great many herself, everyone there just called ehr by name and nothing more. She wouldnt have those titles oh no. "You can just call me by name." She told him. Blushing a bit too. He was awful nice.... Kevv could tell almost, that this was likely an act. But..... well this was the first being she had seen here. Thus there was no way to know for sure yet. But she would play along for now. "Im not even sure where I am going. Im just here to..... see to a few things." She told him. Of course that quite true..... he had no definite place she had to go to at all..... her free to roam, just trying t see how this planet prospered..... Though she hoped more talked such flattery like this demon did. It was nice to be spoken to like that time to time......

Del'ure's eyes began sparkling ever so slightly when Kevv started talking about it being risky to take him along to wherever it was she had come from. If there were any more creatures like her running about there, he wouldn't mind encountering a little danger, but he was not going to say that out loud - not yet at least. He simply nodded in response, respecting - who would've thought - her privacy and did not inquire any further as to her background. After all, in this case, it would be so much better to just drift off into his own imaginary world of a planet full of beautiful female creatures. Now that was a vision he would very much enjoy coming back to at a later time of night or day.. The looks of her were inspiration enough but ..

Against his wish to remain the gentleman - if someone like Del'ure could ever properly pass like one - the demon burst out laughing, throwing back his head and giving way to a very hearty laugh at the mention of one of Kevv's other names. He simply could not help himself. "Diamond? Are you serious?" Trying to focus and stop laughing, he held his side with one hand and started gesticulating with the other. "I mean.. of all the names you could have been called, Diamond?!" He still couldn't believe it. Coughing, he thus tried to choke the laughter in his throat, finally succeeding in decreasing it into a minor chuckle from time to time when he couldn't hold it in any longer. "I'm sorry," he managed to say quite sincerely even, though it was unsure even to himself whether he meant his laughter or the name. "See? Milady actually does suit you better, better even then Diamond," he grinned, adding, "even though you might actually turn out to be very precious." He couldn't help himself, despite still having to force down a laugh, he tried to charm her.

Clearing his throat once more, Del'ure straightened up fully again before motioning to Kevv to join him. "Well, since you want to see something of this place, please follow me, I will guide you to the nearest town, where you will be able to rest if you so wish." Choosing a tiny path leading deeper into the forest, and certainly away from that little tavern in the little coastal village he had been to only a few moments earlier, the demon planned on putting all nasty thoughts aside and actually showing her a bit of the scenery, as far as it was visible by night since he didn't know exactly how good her night vision was, while making their way towards Harglen. It might not be the best town to visit on your first trip to Dragon's Cove, yet it was a place he quite like to frequent. People were easily swayed to do your bidding, if you provide the right kind of payment. Almost as bad as in Kaionar, but the town of Kaionar was a whole different story. "I'll try to take a short route and then you'll be free to attend to your personal business." He did not dare letting his mind venture as to what might happen once they were looking for a place to sleep.. Luckily, the grin that was spreading over his face in the shade of the trees was not visible to anyone else.

Kevv raised an eyebrow a bit, able to tell De'lure was more then likely thinking of where she spoke of while she talked of course. Well she wouldnt deny there were some that looked similar to her perhaps, though none quite as eye-catching more then likely. Let alone there were others there thatd just rip him in two or something. The planet Kevv came from was pretty much occupied solely by dragons and some lesser creatures that were just food perhaps. Kevv the only Anthr-beast furthermore, almost all the rest stood on four legs. Thus Kevv knew De'lure would be a bit disappointed if he ever went and seen her planet.

Though as he laughed, Kevvs' cheeks flushed a bit. Not finding that very nice, what was wrong with such a name? It had meaning to it by far. LEt alone, it was simple and easy for most to remember. "Im quitte serious... it perhaps mbears more meaning to me then you can sense." She said softly. Most that laughed at her like that likely wouldve been crouche dover in pain by then. But.... Kevv was trying to just be nice. Perhaps figuring herself to be looking too deep into that all too, thus seeing little reason to really punish him for his laughter. Smiling a bit at his apology though. "It's fine... if you wish to call me that then, I suppose it does no damage." she said gently. Figuring she could just.....overlook this little bit now.

His next words reassured her a bit though. Glad he was being polite at least, let alone offering this. For well, it got lonely wandering an unknown planet by yourself. "I would like that very much." She told him. Having no issue with such at all. It'd be nice to sit down without worry for hersafety somewhere of course. Perhaps summon a change of cloting too. Wondering where they would go though really. As far as seeing at night went, it was almost as good as looking at things during the day. Thus well KEvv had no problems at all, wandering at night or day. "I see, very well then. That will be best." She said t him softly. Well She didn't have too much to do. Not until she could find...a few things this planet held. But she anticipated it taking a very long time to find suchthings, let aloen the fact she just wanted to see how the life of beings on this planet was to begin with. She had given herself a good year or more to indeed see things and make things right for herself. Well Kevv had not a clue what might go on at the place they decided to stop and sleep. Though well perhaps luckily for him, Kevv wasn't too nervous of such thigns either, not even close...... Thus she walked near him, her ears flicking slightly, her tail twitching a bit, listening and watching......

"Milady, it definitely is then," he said, turning towards Kevv to flash her a smile. He slowly moved through the forest, out of habit trying to make as less noise as possible so as not to disturb anything or anyone that might be around. This time of night there were not many creatures about though, after all it was too late for any daywalkers and the night critter was almost inaudible when moving through the forest, stalking their prey. Keeping his eyes mostly on the tiny path before them, Del'ure couldn't help but he regularly peered over at Kevv, observing her moves, the way her ears wandered about to catch every sound. Even the flickering of the tail once in a while did not escape his sharp eyes. He found it somewhat amusing that she in fact did have a tail. It yet again made him realise that there was much more hidden beneath that cloak, and probably also that exterior, then there was to the eye at first glance.

"I may have to warn you though, people can be a little rough around the edges where we're headed. But they just don't know it any better." It probably resulted from the fact of having to deal with too many beings like Del'ure, but that was not something he wasn't going to say out loud. Money did speak louder than many other things and not only the demon was well known for providing to the needs of those that catered to his wishes. The journey there wouldn't be a long one, so he had to do the most of it. The real question that arose more and more though was what he was actually planning on doing. So far he had no clue himself and it was unnerving him a little. Being someone who usually always had an ulterior motive, he usually had a plan sooner or later, but nothing had crept into his mind yet. Not that he wasn't perfectly fine with just going with the flow, but the more he thought about it, the uneasier it made him. This had to mean something.

It's then that he realised exactly how quiet the forest was, actually too quiet, despite the early morning hours. He immediately stopped dead in his tracks, observing his surroundings like a hawk and completely forgetting about his intentions for or with Kevv. Something major was going on here and he had let himself become so distracted that he hadn't even seen or heard it coming - which was unforgivable! "Those little bastards...", the demon grumbled, picking up on who it was that was trying to surround them. Apparently, he had made much more of an impression he had wanted to and very obviously not a good one. Directing his gaze at Kevv, he pointed in the direction they were headed in: "Let's go, with a bit more speed if you wish, Milady."

Kevv heard him and rather, gave a soft litle giggle. Keeping up with him seamlessly, it no trouble for her. he could move quite fast without noise in truth, it something she just had became very good with in her time so far. Hearing critters sometimes but not at all worried about them. Unlike De'lure Kevv could ehar and see much more more then likely, considering how strong her own senses were. Watching e'lure himself a bit as they moved about too, indeed it a wonder why a demon like himself would help her out like this. Perhaps he was nicer then his aura seemed? Or well was he up to something more? Kevv would find out and she knew it. Especially likely once they found a place for ehr to take this cloak off of her frame, it indeed bugging her a bit truly, she ahted having to hide ehr form like this. But in a place like this for now, it had to be done simply.

Kevv frowned a bit though, hearing De'lure speak of course. Snorting a bit as well, having figured as much with how this environment felt. "I see..... thats litle trouble, humans can be easy to deal with." She said simply, with a slight touch of distate. Indeed not liking humans too much at all, simply they seemed hard-headed to her, and far too headstrong for their own good. Always rushing headlong into things and instigating the worst of it. Such things just didn't favor to Kevvs' instincts at all. Thus she chose to deal with humans as least as possible. though sometimes it was unavoidable of course. It a wonder why theyd go to this town in particular though, knowing there were likely better ones around. But Kevv wasn't about to complain of course, a place to stop and change and relax a bit was going to be good.

Kevv gave a frown however, seeing De'lure stop of course, let alone so suddenly. She stopped beside him, hearing him seeming to curse...well someone. Let alone hearing his desire to speed up. Getting the feeling trouble was brewing a bit. "Hmm.... well how fast do you prefer? Or do you just prefer to be there immediately?" she asked. Having little trouble with warping them there if he wished. Her mind searched forth though, needing to of course find the palce before she could warp to it. A glimpse of the mind would be enough. Wondering who was after him though really, indeed she could tell there was alot to this demons' background perhaps that she had yet to discover anything about.

Vengeance was a dish best served cold as they say, yet Del’ure could physically sense the searing heat of his attackers’ desire to take out the demon and make him pay. It was lashing out at his body like a bolt of lightning and the fact that these silly little beings were gaining ground did not improve the situation. The edge of the demon’s vision was slowly turning red as his previously suppressed anger began to rise back to the surface, threatening to drain away everything he had been feeling for the past few moments, only leaving space for pure and utter rage. Which in other words would mean a bloodbath. Grumpy, he was scalding himself for being so careless and let this slip out of his mind while still being too close to the earlier battlefield to forget how upsettingly stupid humans could sometimes be. Not a single one would survive this should they decide to actually follow through with their hastily planned revenge-plot.

Del’ure was picking out the various intonations of the steps, trying to make out exactly how many humans were after his hide and where they were creeping about, completely forgetting about the female that had kept pace with him as if they were taking a slow, unhurried stroll through the park. Then something she said caught his attention and made him abandon all other thoughts. Abruptly, he fully turned towards Kevv and looked at her, eyes locking: “What?” Had he just heard right? He searched her face for something that would give away whether she was being honest or mocking him, but found nothing in the likes. Had she in all honesty just said warped? That couldn’t be right though, could it? The sheer astonishment made him straighten up and calm down slightly. “Are you seriously saying you can warp us away, just like that and without knowing where you’re going?” He had to admit, it was a very tempting thought, especially since he had on purpose refrained from spilling any blood tonight, seeing that he might still need this little bunch of idiots. There was still some information to be gathered and them being dead was getting in the way of that. They should have just spilled the beans as they were supposed to and Del’ure wouldn’t have to worry about any kind of aftermath. Either they would be alive and glad to be so, which would mean, sit in their stinky little pub and drink their crappy beer without bothering him, or they’d all be happily moving on to another realm of existence by now.

“Whatever it is you can do, better make it quick before I completely lose my temper,” the demon grumbled as the humans were edging closer again now that they had almost come to a stop. Del’ure’s eyes were scanning the trees and bushes around them, sensing rather than seeing them move, though the humans were not really experienced in sneaking up on others. Their emotions were like the waves of a stormy sea, never reclining, never resting and they were beginning to push Del’ure’s buttons, exactly those that would turn him into the bloodthirsty demon that is very nature constituted and that he had been trying to hide as far as possible from Kevv. Until now.

Kevv twitched her tail just a bit. Hearing them soon enough. Footfalls.... ahh so some were indeed following. They didn't feel too happy either. They didn't seem too powerful either to come to think of it. Such beings thinking they were such brutes and so strong... it almost made Kevv giggle in truth. Though she could tell De'lure wasn't too pleased that these beings were following him either. Kevv didn't feel like fighting, she preferred to keep out of conflicts, especially if they were on planets she was a guest upon. Thus a peaceful solution would be ebst. Her mind searched further, until she found well, this town she was sure De'lure was taking them to.

At De'lures' words though Kevv giggled. "Ahh.... well I have to know some inkling of where I am heading. But yes. I can take us there." She said to him. Able to tell he had never ehard of someone being able to do such a thing. Though for Kevv instantaneous movement and warping...well it was a part of life. The easiest way to get somewhere, much better then some silly human horses or flight for hours and hours on end. Flying was fun and exhilirating, but tiring after some hours of it of course, let alone hunger set in and things, making you awkward in flight. Thus well, for such things Kevv jsut preferred to appear there. Thus i nthis case, that would be the ebst decision to make in her opinion. Considering these humans seemed to want his hide. Wait humans? Ugh.... Kevvs' eyes sank into a frown just a bit. Of all the things to pursue this demon it had to be idiotic humans. She should've known of course.....

Kevv smield softly though, pulling De'lur quite close to her in fact too. He likely could see some of that dagonic snout in her hood as close as he was. "Here we go." She said gently. Rather out of spite, Kevv casted first. Th humans seeming near all suddenly were quite encased in....well ice. Though lucky for them the ice would shatter in abut a minute..... but Kevv and De'lure vanished from where they stood. Knowing De'lure would likely get a bit dizzy from the experience of the warp itself, though in less then a second they appeared in a small alley. No one was in it Kevv made sure, thus they appeared safely and undetected. Kevv not wanting anyone to see them jsut appear out of nowhere. ahh the odd questions that would bring about of course. "Here we are." she said gently. Not sure exactly where in the town they were but it was somewhere near the center, that she was sure of.

Del'ure couldn't help but feel the need to urge Kevv to be quicker in what she was doing but he held his tongue. Losing his temper was not the best of ideas, not only for future plans but he didn't want to lose his face in front of such an interesting being such as Kevv was. Not yet at least, it was too early to show his all to true colours. The little fit before was not worth mentioning really. It seemed though that he wasn't the only one not too pleased with the human's approach as he observed Kevv. He was still unable to see details in the female's face under the hood but her posture was not an inviting one to attackers.

Keeping an eye on the bushes around them, Del'ure was taken by surprise as Kevv suddenly pulled him close. That was definitely not something he had expected to happen. Not that he hadn't though about getting close to her, she was lavishing enough after all, despite the cloak hiding most of her, but this was sudden. The form beneath the cloak was very soft to touch, curvy just as a female's body should be, very enticingly so and Del'ure was losing focus on the present situation for a moment as he indulged in exploiting the situation to do a little exploration whilst trying to not overdo it, she might accidentally - of course - leave him there and warp without him. As he looked up to have a peek under the hood, he was astonished to see what almost seemed like a dragon's face. Now that was peculiar, but weirdly enough, it suited her well and somehow made her all the more attractive. He would have to ask her later on, even though they had agreed on not revealing too much information about themselves. Del'ure did not even realise that Kevv had cast a spell on the humans, freezing them to the spot. And then they were already gone.

"Well, thank you Milady. That was quite... interesting," The characteristic mischievous grin was spreading across Del'ure's face as he stepped back from Kevv when he had convinced himself that he actually had firm ground beneath his feet and they were not going to warp any further. Looking around, he quickly figured where they were and beckoned Kevv to follow him as he made his way out of the alley towards what was indeed the very centre of the town they had warped to. "There's a small and quiet inn not too far from here. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but people don't ask questions and it's not as bad as it might seem at first glance." Looking back towards Kevv, he briefly smiled, before following the shadows as much as possible to where he wanted to go. It was an old habit of his to stay within the shades instead of walking around in plain view.

Not too far from where Kevv had warped them to, Del'ure headed for what could almost only be described as a run-down shabby barrack. An old, wind-beaten sign figuring the unreadable name of the place was hanging over the dark, uninviting looking door. But the demon did not take any notice of all the signs that seemed to say "turn around and go away" but simply headed straight through the door and into a rather big and less gloomy than expected pub. It was almost completely devoid of living creatures except for the drunkard leaning against the bar and a rather scruffy looking woman sleeping by the fireplace. Indeed, she was filthy, Del'ure could smell her from all the way across the room...

Kevv of course knew he likely would feel a bit while she held him close to her. But well, she didn't mind it too much. So long as he ddin't feel too low perhaps... such things were for a better time. Knowing the ice tombs would hold the humans a little while.... likely theyd be very far ahead of them by the time they got out of them too. Yet the tombs wouldnt kill them, allowing a small hole to give them air. Kevv didn't like to kill anyone thus, since he didnt have to do so....well they werent oing to die. human or not... KEvv despised the human race, but it didnt mean he wanted to see them all gone. They just had some flaws to get over as a race, and once thjey did, KEvv knew they would be quite a prosperous race.....

Though she gave a giggle once hearing him as they appear. "Oh I bet it was to you." she said softly, knowing De'lure had enjoyed it more then he likely would say. Though she followed him with ease, twitching her tail a bit too. This town looked quite grubby in her opinion..... though most towns did of course. Listening to his words as he spoke, giving a nod as wll. "Sounds a fine plan for now." she said to him softly. Kevv had stayed in worse place she would admit. Thus this inn likely wouldnt be too bad for now of course. It would be a palce to get out of this cloa at least and relax some, let alone get to know her new friend some more too perhaps. Despite how he seemed to truly be, he was well, very interestign to Kevv....

Seeing the old palce soon enough, Kevv sighed softly and comfortably. At least she knew she wouldnt go hungry and such here.... Going inside and well, trying not to breathe too much. To Kevv that scent was atrocious of the female, her nose of course very strong, as most dragonkins were. In her kingdom Kevv wouldve made this female go bathe and immediately, or well she wouldve washed her herself. Kevv didnt like too poor of hygeine for anyone..... Though here she had little say thus, she just did her very best to ignore it, which was a slight struggle. "Hmm.... a small meal and a room would be best..." Kevv told De'lure softly. Not really knowin anyone here thus well, she knew he did thus he could get what they needed. Hoping it was good...... Hoping the room was okay too. she needed to scry some things thus, well she hoped a small table was in there.

The owner of the place, who was at the same time the barkeeper came out of the tiny office behind the bar to see who had entered the place so late. No matter what he had been doing in his office, but as he came out, he was in typical barkeeper-fashion quite busy cleaning glasses which were already spotless with a perfectly clean white cloth. As he recognised Del'ure, his face darkened, the joy of seeing the demon stepping into his humble abode clearly visible. Eyeing the two up and down, he grumbled: "I'm warning you, boy" - at which word Del'ure shot him a despising look - "if you cause trouble within these walls yet again, you will never set foot in here ever again. Are we clear?" It was true, his history in this particular place had been rather eventful and not always to the best of the barkeeper's interests, but he wouldn't have blurted out such things in front of a companion, especially not a female one. "Don't worry about it," he grumbled, "with such a sweet smell, I'm bound to be out of here rather quickly again." It was rather obvious who the demon had meant with this comment and he didn't care whether the woman had heard it or not. The stench was simply unbearable and even the person with the worst sense of smell could not have evaded it. Thus, he didn't see either that the woman had indeed heard and was giving his back the evil eye. So much for being asleep..

Turning to Kevv, he suddenly asked: "Would you rather prefer to stay somewhere else?" It had suddenly hit him that this place was probably less than becoming for someone who was also known by a name such as Diamond, so maybe he ought to have chosen a place a little more decent than this. Plus, as it looked, he had outstayed his welcome here anyway, so he might just as well start looking for another inn now rather than later; it was in addition a good way to spite the barkeeper to openly ask this in front of him. The fact that Kevv seemed revolted by the smell even though she tried to hide it made the idea of leaving seem all the better. It would certainly not put him in her good graces if he forced her to stay in such a dump, which sadly - now in the presence of a lady - he became utterly aware of. As good a place as it might have been for doing dark deeds, it was certainly not a befitting place to spend a first night in a new place. "There is bound to be some place around here that is more to your liking." Unusually for him, he did feel a tad bad for dragging her to this place after she warped them away from a precarious situation, it was not the nicest ways of repaying the kindness. "Whatever you want," he added, leaving the choice up to her.

Kevvs' eyes narrowed a bit, watching the keeper emerge from his little place back there. Noting that the keeper did not seem too happy to see De'lure. Then again she didn't seem the type that much of anyone would be ahppy to see. Though Kevv saw little wrong about him. He might need some straightening out in his mind but well... such things were easy to deal with for some. Like herself of course. But Kevv would worry over all that later. Besides, she wasn't sure how long theyd be together anyway. Knowing his kind then he wouldnt hang about long. though she wouldnt mind if he did. He would be quite the change of her normal company, and erhaps even a fun change.

Though she wrinkled ehr snout a bit. This palce smelled a bit terrible. That female eneded to learn what a bath was that was certain. But Kevv kept ehrself where she was at, not wanting to make a stir in this little place. Listening absentmindedly to the two speaking as her eyes roved around some. Though hearing De'lure she giggled a bit too. Well, surprised he woudl ask her such a thing. It almost unlike his style. But well Kevv had to give him credit for trying to be nice to her. She was sure in the end it would pay off for him too. "well, it is up to you. Though indeed my nose cant take mcuh more." She said simply. That female jsut unbearale. Especially to a Dragonic sensory. It was very, very bad.

Kevv straightened up a bit though, holding little doubt there were better places to be right then. The only benefit she could see of this place was its subtlety. It had to be tough to be found there for sure. Most would walk right by and hardly notice its being there at all. "Well, if you wish to go, then let us do so.... im sure theres somewhere more appealing to be or us." She said to him softly. Glad he was being gentlemanly. Well she didn't get that too much truly. Hell where she came from she was sued to some of the opposite behavior of males and females alike to her. All they cared of was being quick in the nest and out. IT was quite bad truly. It was why she hadnt takern anyone simply for an extremely long time. It was also a good bit why no one was with her now of course.... Kevv liked good bits of fum but, have somewhat of a heart after eh?

Shortly after having suggested that the bad smell would drive the demon out soon enough anyway, Del’ure took up on Kevv’s agreement, grinning at her comment, and without a single further glance at the barkeeper, he turned on his heel and walked back out the door through which Kevv and him had come in only moments earlier. If only he had realised all this earlier, he could have saved himself the trouble of coming here and the embarrassment in front of Kevv. He wasn’t used to not handling everything to near perfection when there was a woman around, mostly it was all carefully planned ahead or they quickly fell under his spell and didn’t notice anything besides his body anymore anyway. Shaking the unusual feeling off him, he considered the possible directions to take and after a few seconds’ hesitation, turned left and walked a few steps, glancing towards Kevv every now and then. Taking a deep breath of fresh air, he sighed. “What a delight! Fresh air! Can you believe he has not thrown her out?” Shaking his head at such inconsiderate behaviour by an owner, the demon picked up his feet and began to head onwards.

Not too much further down the road, there was another inn with a much more welcoming air than the shabby little one they had first made a stop at. It could almost be too highly classified for someone such as Del’ure but he was positive, he could enjoy it for one day’s rest, even though he would have to keep up the more gentlemanly behaviour he had adopted with Kevv earlier. In a way, he did find it rather amusing to flatter her by being nicer to her than he ordinarily was to anyone but on the other hand, he sometimes felt like he was betraying his demonic nature. But ah well, for just a short while, he would certainly not die from it, on the contrary, maybe he’d even be able to benefit from it. At this thought, a small smile played around his lips. He could get used to having her around, she seemed an agreeable companion, and it would take a while before he forgot how she had warped them out of the forest. Not only because it had felt really good to be close to her – there was no denying that, he knew she knew that too - but also because she’d saved him from losing it there and then.

Only one step into the inn, Del’ure realised that he’d be in way over his head. For his standards, this place could only be called posh. There was a little reception and a nicely decorated waiting area, with the stairs leading up to the rooms and the door to the bar leading off from it, the slight smell of roses in the air. An elderly woman offered them a friendly smile from behind the desk, before she fervently began rummaging through some papers. Not too much a fan of roses, he inwardly kept telling himself, like a mantra, that he was sure he would survive this one night. With questioningly raised eyebrows, he looked at his female companion: “Would this be more to your liking, Mylady?” He couldn’t help but add the last bit, an amused twinkle in his eyes.

Before he could add anything else, the elderly woman behind the desk audibly cleared her throat so as to gain their attention. When the demon looked back at her, she was holding a sealed envelope out to him: “Excuse me, Sir, but this message has been left for you and your escort.”

Kevv took no time at all once De'lure turned to folow him. Indeed this place was just... not to her taste. Especially with that one person in there, it was quite horrendous. Thus once outside she opened ehr nostrils a bit more and took in the much cleaner air. It far, far better then that mess inside the place. Hearing him though she giggled a bit. "Well if it had been me I woulda thrown her in the tub simply. Though indeed the fact he did nothing was quite wrong." She said softly. Drawing her cloak a bit around ehr and keeping pace with him. Her eyes roving some, curious of their location right then. Well who wouldnt be? she had enver been here, plus well there were much different beings in these parts then Kevv was used to encountering. Even if he had seen such beings before.

Seeing the next place De'lure approached Kevv rather looked him over this time. Well he wasn't one to seem to go into such places at all. How were they going to seem to fit in? Well Kevv would do all she could if nothing else. She was sure they could pass this off. Well Kevv enjoyed his niceness greatly. Though she was no fool. She knew he likely normally behaved entirely different to most others. But no matter how he behaved he likely would be quite enjoyable to Kevv. She wondered why he felt he had to keep such a facade around her. Then again with how she seemed, so nice and well-stanced and things..... well she could take some guesses why.

Kevv walked in with him silently. Having to admit this place looked much more inviting then the last they walked into. It smelled way better too. Plus there were flowers around and well, not many didnt like those. Hearing De'lure though Kevv nodded. "This palce is much better." she told him softly. Tempted to say something else but perhpas she would wait until later. For now she would enjoy where they were. The lady behind the desk seemed nice enough. Though her gaze frowned sharply once De'lure was handed... an envelope? Kevv wasn't a fool, she knew De'lure likely never came here. Why was there something waiting for him, and even worse, her? It made Kevv very uneasy in truth. No one from her own planet aside from a few of ehr council knew she ahd came here at all. The counil would jsut contact her mind directly, not send her letters. Thus this must be from someone De'lure was reckoning with..... but then who?

Del’ure was completely dumbfounded by this event, to say the least. After a quick glance back at Kevv, who was just as astonished – and also slightly worried – as he was, he quickly gathered his wits and walked the few paces over to the desk. How could anyone know they’d come here? It was not a place he frequented and his female companion sure was an unannounced visitor to these parts. So, how could there be a message waiting for the both of them? With a smile on his handsome face, he took the envelope from the woman’s extended hand and said: “Thank you. We will be having a small night cap before retreating to our rooms. We do not wish to be disturbed.”

Without leaving Kevv the chance to react to this, he took her by the arm and escorted her into the next room, which turned out to be somewhat of a tearoom and not a bar. Del’ure desperately wanted to talk to her about this but kept his mouth shut for another few moments as the elderly receptionist – what was a woman of her age doing at this time of night by herself behind a reception counter anyway? – followed them in to pour them their drinks.

As soon as they were alone, all the other customers had probably retreated to their rooms hours ago since this hardly was a night-life kind of establishment, the demon looked at Kevv intently: “Do you have any idea how to explain this?” he asked, slightly outraged. He was renowned for being hard to track and this was not good publicity at all. He was about to blurt out random accusations but thought better of it, knowing that she could not have anything to do with this. Everything that had happened up until then, or what Del’ure had done earlier for that matter, had given any indication of them ending up here, so she could not have planted a letter. If that was indeed what it was. When they had entered the room, the demon had placed the envelope on the table and had resolved to simply staring at it when he was not observing Kevvs’s face for any hints. He didn’t want to think about the consequences it could entail should he be so easily traceable these days. “Nobody knew we were coming here, heck I didn’t know I was coming here, why would anybody else? Who knows you’re here? Who knows what you’re up to in these parts? Maybe that could give us an indication.” Trying to reign in his temper, the demon was putting suggestions on the table to keep his brain busy with various possibilities in order to avoid being too self-indulgent and only thinking about repercussions on his own life.

Kevv was indeed astonished over this. It sent chills through her a bit too. This was unusual and a big throw-off for her as well. she knew none knew she had came ehre except ehr council of elders. Other then that everyone on her planet was completely in the dark about ehr presence in this world. Well of course De'lure knew she was there now too but he hardly counted as a dangerous being to her right then. Feeling De'lure take her arm though she followed him, her gaze sweeping along the new roo. Finding it a bit formal. Almost as nice as her own dining hall. But she sat down with him, giving a gentle sigh. Alot on her mind right then, far mroe then she thought was going to be there. But she knew things just tended to happen she supposed.

Kevv debated as she sat there though, but hearing De'lure she frowned. "None know of me being here except twelve others. But they dont know my exact location on this planet. Nor would they send me anything, lest I requested it." she told him. Not going to tell him exactly what twelve, it might be alot on him to know he had utter royalty with him. "Id say it was soemone from that other place we went to. But neither seem capable of such fast movement." She said softly. "Thus... im in the dark on thi one. Though... we should open it and see what it says perhaps." she said softly. Wrapping her tai laround the chairlegs a bit.

Kevv gave some more consideration. But she finally lowered her hood. Well itd allow De'lure to see her face fully at least. Knowing itd be an astonishing sight to him more then likely. she hoped it would ease the tension too, which was getitng to be way more then what Kevv wanted to feel there already. She flicked her mane back some too, not needing her eyes shielded by it right then. Her soft gaze able to see more now without the hood on hte way. Thus she took the room in once more, taking her tea and sipping at it as well. "This just isnt logical." she muttered. Who the hell would send them anything Before they even knew where they were going? Perhaps a mage?

Del’ure stared from Kevv to the envelope and back, knowing that most likely what she said was the truth. If no one knew how could this be waiting for them? He raised his eyebrows at her words though. She seemed to be somewhat more important where she came from the he’d thought or she’d made out to be. “Unless you tell them to?” He blinked. “Well, well, Milady, there is a lot more to you than you’re telling me is there?”

And then he saw just how much more. He had not been ready for her lifting the hood of her cloak, though at some point it was bound to have happened. They could not have been travelling together for ages on end without him seeing her complete face at some point. The little glimpse he had caught earlier had not given any real clues other than that she was rather special in reference to what he was used to see. The green of her eyes matched the colour of her mane and it was, admittedly, rather stunning a colour. Del’ure had to force himself not to stare like a complete idiot at the delicate features of her face, the dragonic giving her an even more wonderful outlook than he’d thought possible.

Clearing his throat, the demon fixed his gaze on the envelope still lying untouched in the middle of the table so as not to keep staring at Kevv, even though it indeed was a pretty sight. One of them would have to make the move and open this damn thing, rather sooner than later, if they wanted to know what the heck was going on and who had set them up like this. If indeed it was a set-up. Del’ure wasn’t quite sure about that though; his gut usually wasn’t wrong about these kinds of things but this time it seemed a little different. Especially as it was not only himself involved in this but Kevv as well, and her presence alone was change enough from the situations he usually got in, not to mention her social standing – or so it seemed. He wasn’t sure whether he should ask the blunt question or not. On the one hand, they had agreed not to go into detail about their lives and present purposes, but on the other hand, he was beginning to be more and more curious. Not to mention the fact the he assumed that her background might have some implication in this matter. He simply couldn’t figure out why he was involved if this was about Kevv, other than the fact that he’d happened to have bumped into her and was helping her to find her way around, for this first night at least.

“Alright, give me that envelope,” he said, leaning forward to pick it up. His gut was screaming trap all the way through the process but the demon’s hands were steady as he broke the simple, unadorned seal and opened the envelope. The outcome was almost disappointing after the fuss they’d made. A simple white card with a few words in a scripture unknown to him. Turning the card over once to make sure he hadn’t missed anything, he shrugged nonchalantly and handed it over to Kevv. “Looks like the message was not intended for me.”

Kevv smiled a bit at his words. Trying not to giggle really too. Though she shrugged. "Well Yes, I suppose." She said softly. A simple answer, though she knew more would follow it too more then likely. Curiousty a strong and untameable feeling to say the least. Seeing his eyes too once she lowered her hood. Giggling a bit and blushing slightly as well. Well she was used to such stares. But she felt it a slight privledge to get such from somethign like a demon of course. But she didnt look too much into it right then. Figuring she would learn of all that kind of feeling from him likely later. Thus, no rush at all.

Kevv frowned, keeping her eyes on that envelope too. Especially once De'lure reached for it to open it too. Knowing alot could be in the thing of course, but...what was it? Surprised when i was but a small card it seemed. Let alone recognizing the writing. Giving a sigh of relief too. Taking it from him once he handed it to her. "Im surprised... normally they jsut tell me such things by mind. I suppose they wanted me to not forget it at all, thus they sent it in a more fabricated way." she said gently. Reading it, recognizing such too. "Its just a erm, list.... of things I wanted to do while here." she said softly. noticing a few things were added to it. But well she ouldnt say such a move was unexpected. "well I suppose I should be thankful for their thoughtfulness, though scaring us like that tarnishes it all." she said, giving a sigh.

Kevv soon sipped at her tea some more, finding it strange tasting. Definently nothing like home. Though she couldnt say it was unpleasant. "Well, you seem to draw all kinds of attention too...." Kevv said finally. Well she was curious.Wanting to know more about her tour guide perhaps. Or whatever you wanted to call De'lure. She didnt know that was for sure. "Ive met a few of your kin in my time so far.... not all of them are upleasant thankfully. You dont seem to be so either. which I must say I am very glad of. Though I can tell.... it is troubling you not to be so." She said with a giggle. He was definently going to know Kevv knew way more typically then what one being should. "Though I like your effort alot. But tell me... why were you being chased like that from the other direction whence you came?" She asked, watching him with those gentle eyes.... not seeming incriminating or anything. Just curious.

“Is that all there is to it?! Really?” Del’ure didn’t hide the fact he was a little disappointed, maybe even slightly outraged. He’d imagined it would at least be some kind of threat or warning or at least a quest of some kind. But no. Nothing of the sort. Brooding over this wouldn’t do any good and he knew that quite well but he couldn’t help it. He didn’t even notice that Kevv didn’t seem all too fond of the tea they’d been served when he kept trying to analyse the situation. The hot drink was for him like so many other things – he drank it to get it over with. He was no tea drinker as such but then again, he wasn’t a fan of anything in particular anyway.

He raised an eyebrow at Kevv over the rim of the delicate tea cup as she spoke. Apparently, he was not the only curious one here at this table. For a few moments, he tried to decide what to reply to this rather knowing statement. She seemed to be a quite capable reader of beings if she could tell so much without having been around them for long. “No, demons are not all that unpleasant as the general idea seems to want to convey. But I’m in no way too much like most of my kin. I seem to have taken over a bit more of this human than just his outer shell.” He took another sip from the cup he was still holding in his hand, making him look rather more sophisticated than he usually was. Yet, he did not comment further on her observation.”

Clearing his throat, he gave her an evaluating look before he mused: “I thought we weren’t going to go into details?” He said this with a smile playing around his lips though. Setting the cup back in its little saucer, the demon never let Kevv out of his sight, steadily returning her gaze. “I was in need of information but did not quite get what I wanted and still want. The villagers weren’t too pleased with my appearance and my mild questioning. There’s not much to it really. I’ll have to go back at some point to get all that I need, but I think the owner will have to cool off a little first.” With a mischievous grin, he added: I got a little too friendly with his wife.” The tone implied however that this was obviously not the demon’s opinion.

Face turning serious again, he still looked at Kevv. “But, while we’re on the topic. What is it yuo’re doing here then? What is so important that your twelve, whatever they are, need to send you a written reminder of so you don’t forget?” It seemed unlikely to him that she would forget instructions, though he didn’t say it out loud. There was much more to her than meets the eye and he resolved not to try to push his luck too much. She might be dangerous after all.

Kevv shrugged a bit. "It would seem so." she said softly. Well there was more to such a thing then De'lure might easily guess. But she wanted to keep it that way. She had quite a bit of business to attend to on this planet, and she wanted to be discreet about alot of it. For she really still didn't know who was ehr friend, and who was her enemy. Though she didn't think De'lure to be much her enemy. well she really couldn't be too sure yet. Thus, she had to keep herself a bit withdrawn on giving others such valuable information of ehrself and what she was up to.

Kevv sat back a bit, just listening patently to De'lure. As he well, explained himself some. Kevv was glad he wasnt too shy of cdoing such, for well Kevv was the last one who would divulge things to others. She set the tea down after a time, it so strange-tasting to her. It wasnt too bad but she supposed this planets' ccustomary tastes were far from ehr own. Her ears flicked slightly, listening to De'lure, and well everything else around them too. Loking to her list once more as well. Indeed seeing some odd things to go do, but she supposed it would have to be done of course. Though she gave a shrug too. "Well... its not like I wouldn't learn of it anyway. I would much rather hear ahead of time." she said with a bit of a giggle. Though hearing about the owners' wife Kevv grinned a bit. "Ahh, being naughty were we?" She asked. Definently not seeming too strange to that idea. "Though such methods work only on some..." she said softly after. Knowing soem didn't really fall for their own instincts and feelings at that level in them. She would not easily tell exactly how she knew that though of course.

Though De'lures next question made those soft eyes narrow slightly. Seeming to take into careful consideration how she would answer. For well, she had alot of answers to such indeed. But how was the best way to tell him anything of it? Finally she sipped ehr tea a bit, setting it down once more and looking him oer some. "Well.... I came here because I heard there are more of my kind here. Which was not something I had anticipated. I came ehre to see if this is true, and perhaps help the life here and things for awhile." she told him. "Plus ive a thing or two of personal business to attend to here as well. Though im not too much looking forward to doing it." she said a bit blandly. Knowing getting that statue back was going to be a pain in her rear. They sent me that, I suppose, because they thought the distance and things would mess up our mind communications. Which I doubt it would but... well they ere thoughtful I suppose. At least now I wont need to contact them any longer for a good while. Im here to enjoy myself too, because well, things get too stressful, trying...." she gave a soft sigh. "Trying to rule an empire by yourself, with just some council helping a bit...." She said. Well perhaps De'lure could handle such information. If not well, she would ahve his hide later.....
