Setting: Near Tarz, situated by a small forest, a river and only a few miles from the towering mountains that seem to stretch on for days. The ocean is no more then a few hours flight via dragons back. Keep in mind the town itself has pretty much no one near them.

Plot: What we make of it! As we go along the plot will unfold and who knows, maybe there will be some interesting plot twists in there! Feel free to mix it up!

Time: Early spring, cool during the day and chilly during the night hours.

Posting order: StormKatz, Taj, Polar Immersion, Staugroan, Ghost

Lets get this thing going!

Jackdaww smiled as the forest thinned out and the mountains came into veiw. He had been walking for days, after leaving Measle with a healer for his wing in the last city. Measle’s wing had been broken about a week ago, but he wasn’t supposed to get up for another week and a half, so Jackdaww had set off without him. He was glad to be out of the forest, and stopped for a moment beside a small stream that was making its way down from the mountains. He washed his face in the cold, fresh water, before filling his water skin for the rest of the journey. He didn’t know where he was going, but at least he was seeing new places.

With not a penny to his name, aside from a few coppers and a silver piece reserved for drinking, Jackdaww looked a wreck – his shirt was dirty, his trousers were torn around the hems, and his chain mail (which he wore all the time) was a good few sizes too big for him. However, he wore the royal Knight’s crest that was branded on it with pride, and refused to believe that he looked anything but impressive whilst wearing it. As he rose to his feet, he laid one hand on the hilt of his sword, and felt memories rushing into him. He needed the message translating, for it was written in appalling script, and was the last thing he had from his father. Maybe someone here, in the mountains famous for wisdom (or so he had heard) would be able to read it? He could only hope. He continued to follow the river, that thought burning in his head, as he looked for some sort of settlement.

The warm afternoon sun played on the waters surface of the river near by and gave off a vibrant light if looked upon its calm surface. The cool winds blew through his dark red hair and sent the already discombobulated mess flying about him. His eyes shone bright as he adjusted the pack on his back. Enlil was on a mission, to find a dragon that had been rumored to be in these parts and he wanted to see the creature.

Enlil, always being the curious energetic type, had been traveling around Dragons Cove for awhile now, searching out rumors here or there for signs of a Storm Dragon that he had so heard about. Nothing fascinated him more, being a lightning user, than their wings and their own personality. Alas, he had yet to meet once and hoped that this rumor might come true.

As he walked the road, kicking up patches of dry dirt and sending puffs of brown particles throughout the air, Enlil kept his eyes open for anyone he might run into, anyone that might have information that he might use. He was always in a hurry, and wanted to find the creature as soon as possible. As he walked, more in a west ward direction for most of the afternoon, he took note that a mountain range was coming up, the tall peaks seemingly able to touch the heavens. It wouldn't be much longer before Enlil would be able to see the specks of lights from lanterns and puffs of smoke from houses from the town near by the forest.

"I suppose I can ask around there." Enlil said with a grin, adjusting his pack once more and picking up the pace to get closer to the city.

(sorry that took a little bit to get up guys)

A hairs breadth. That’s how much Rudindri had just missed a tree by in his somewhat suicidal flight pattern thorough the forest. He chuckled to himself, stooping his wings and then banking hard, coming back around and heading at the same tree. Whilst in the air, he began twirling, determined to beat the last feat--bounding off of a rock and then flapping a few times, ending in a sharp nose dive just to the right of the tree--in it’s difficulty. The tree itself wasn’t thick, after all, Rudi wasn’t precisely that dimwitted, but nevertheless, an impact wouldn’t be pleasant…

The twirl itself went well, fluent, graceful, and measured. However, Rudi had neglected to realize how close to a neighboring tree he’d been…

A rapid flare of his wings, followed by several wing beats in rapid succession found Rudindri Dynus slamming into the tree--luckily chest first--and thoroughly disoriented. He coughed, clutching onto the tree tightly, having missed a branch by mere inches, which would have likely stopped his flying lessons for quite a while. Still amused, Rudindri shook his head and chuckled, making note to do such hazardous things with more adequate care. The forest around him seemed to largely ignore the Hobbit Dragon, though Rudi was now beginning to take interest anew in the forest and it’s surroundings. The fading smell of dew still amidst from the morning was a welcome scent.

Moreover though, he could somewhat manage the scent of something else in the woods. Once more, an insatiable desire for mischief came upon the dragon, his brown--almost bark colored--scales and mane of fur caressed by wind as he flapped a few times, coming off the tree and beginning a quiet cruise through the trees, careful to avoid grazing the edges of them as he went. Already, he could feel the feint aura of another in the forest, something he could detect well enough due to his nigh constant use of it to find suitable targets for his Trickster nature to prey upon… He idly wondered if the fellow he was homing in on had even the slightest inkling that something was about to happen to him…

Where is that runt at... Typhon growled, scanning the forest below him with angry eyes. Oligar had insisted he would start the trek on foot while Typhon pursued another lead...they were beginning to get close to finding who had been responsible for the fire so many years ago. But that was at the back of the Storm Dragon's mind as he weaved in the sky. The trees were too closely packed for him in some areas to go searching that closely. For a Lightning Storm Dragon, he had some good size on him.

Typhon landed in a small clearing, folding his wings in, he had spotted a small set of tracks from above, and now that he was close he could tell that they were slightly heavier on one side. well that would make sense...the man has one arm.. Typhon began following the tracks on foot, either squeezing through narrow parts or going around them, he was getting close to finding his...ally again. he looked ahead, and could see that the track he was following led into a tree stump...

what? Typhon lowered his head to the tracks and looked at it for a good long while. Before he realized he wasn't following a human's tracks. He could hear the monkey he was following though, and soon locked eyes on it. It was wearing someones shoes, and carried a bag of fruit in one arm. That's ridiculous... Typhon growled as he took to the sky and started to back track.

Oligar walked onwards, smiling as he tossed a small bag of jewels up into the air, he left earlier than Typhon not just for a head start. Oligar had a side hobby, of course he would never ever tell anyone. he liked to challenge Merchant escorts to duels, only to beat them flat and claim his prize (which was half of what they were getting paid from the merchant.) But it wasn't as though they had much choice, as most of the time he'd fight them anyways if they looked at him the wrong way. Just because a man had one arm and was scarred didn't mean you had to stare at him for ten minutes.

Now, where is that town.. Oligar kept tossing the small bag into the air, keeping his pace as he traveled through the forest. keeping his feet on solid ground so any sore losers wouldn't be able to come find him and try to do some real damage.

The Shadowhunter walked alone in the thick forest, while his dragon was circling the area above. His eyes caught some movement, and when he turned around, he was surprised to see a Hobbit Dragon. He moved silently and jumped on the tree next to him, looking down at the dragon.

Golden eyes shining with amusement, he looked towards where the dragon is looking, Intrestng indeed, I'd say he's up to no good. He thought, and sat silently waiting for what is about to come.

Jackdaww had never been the quickest to respond, and had noticed no disturbance nearby whatsoever. Instead, he decided to rest, and tried to squeeze his daily training in before reaching nay other people. He had tried to keep his fighting habits while he was on the roads, and that often meant practising alone on rather unpleasant nights, and avoiding that to practice in the crisp, mountain air would be like a dream. He unsheathed his sword and gave his wrist a delicate flourish, and watched as the pale light glinted from its silver surface. The huge ruby glimmered an unholy red, and highlighted the livid scars on one wrist. They were from an old adventure – one he could barely remember – where he had been much less used to handling himself alone. They made a lopsided ‘X’ shape, and still burned with the memory of the steel that had put them there. He shook away the thought, and launched into a fast routine of feints, parries, slashes and thrusts, before throwing the blade high in the air. It twirled like a leaf to land in his other hand (also laced with a fine mesh of scars as proof that it too had seen service) and danced in the same routine, but as a perfect mirror image. He allowed the sword to become his only vision, and lost sight of everything around him completely. In a way, his sword craft was like a form of meditation for him, only much more violent.

(ooc;; I do intend to bring Measle in later aswell, but if you would rather I didn't, please say so Smile)

As Enlil went about his way he heard an odd clashing of metal ringing in his ears not far from where he currently was. Excitement shot through him at the thought of someone battling, wanting to get in on the action himself, and he made his way directly towards the noises. It only took a moment or so however to get to the source of the noise.

Enlil was only slightly disappointed that there was in fact only one person and two swords but the display he was putting on for his 'meditation' was show enough to keep the energetic man entertained. He watched for just a few moments before coming into the clearing the man had been in and grinned. "Oi! Nice moves!" He yelled out clearly, not really thinking he might be disturbing someone.

Enlil was all action and hardly any thought despite knowing he had a brain, he always wanted to know what was going on and find more excitement in life. "Can you do anymore tricks?" He asked Jackdaww with a wide grin.

Rudindri smirked as he descended slowly, wings banked ever so slightly to bring him closer and closer to the unsuspecting fellow. He noticed slowly that the man only had one arm--and also the itchy feeling he always got when he thought someone was watching him. He shrugged off the ladder feeling, intent upon the man and his undying desire for mischief. Under normal circumstances, he wouldn't bother a one armed fellow at all; but then normally he had outlets for his burning Trickster urges, and didn't have them piling up for any given target. He grinned widely as the Hobbit Dragon blasted by him, weaving his telekinetic magic through the wind that he caused as he passed him, ten feet high and moving at a speed between leisure and a dragons version of jogging in the air.

The magic that he wove in the air would reach for objects in particular, not so much the person that carried such things. He'd probably feel like a palpable, almost water-like force swirl about him and drag across the man's body. Anything with just enough weight to it would be carried right up with Rudindri where he'd probably make a go to catch whatever came off him, if anything at all. Though he was a sore loser... so not catching anything would probably only make him want to take the shirt off the man's back with the next go...

He chuckled at the thought of that, and mused if it was even possible to do something so ridiculous.
