Im not gonna bother puttin much here. Aside from the fact the planet a few of my characters wound up here from, was destroyed riiiight before this. Thus let the oddness only this pair of people can produce commence. =D

----------------------

Shi had fought hard. Harder then shi ever could remember swinging hir blade, casting more spells then shi could remember clustering into five minutes of time before. Though shi was not the only one to do that. Hir Mother had casted more, far more. But... but it had not been enough. They had left Dragons' Cove, in the middle of a weird battle. Only to find a strange set of monsters on their own planet. Them wreaking random havoc... They had had no idea what to think about such things all the sudden being around, seeming so aggressive toward the dragonkin. It was unusual, and it had not made sense at all. Kevv had been deducing why though... the creatures had been made by magic purely. A dark and arcane magic, powerful and raw. Though they weren't the real problem. Nowhere near it. Rather the monsters were a distraction, for something far more insidious then that.

As if the monsters themselves had not been enough... After the day of fighting through them, then the real threat got figured out. Though, far too late. Kevv had figured out Paradox wa sup to something alright. He had timed it well, too well, even Kevv had figured it out. Though they did attack him, once he showed up. But he was a distraction too, in the end. He wanted to try to fight Kevv on this plane before it was erased pretty much. Kayoss had helped this time, but... the Dark Beast had had help of his own, it had been hardly fair. Then the blast had struck. Paradox had vanished, not even a second before it, he had had it figured out so well. The screams, the agony, the sheer gore from the heat.. .some had managed to shield themselves. Gorz had luckily, he had vanished too. Kayoss had to help though, shi had known the planet was doomed with the sheer force of the destruction roiling through it so suddenly. It had thrown off the gravitational balance of it, plus the seismic parts of the planet were out of control. Some of the rays broke away from the initial blast... Some had hit Kayoss even. Shi had helped hir mother though, making sure shi was warped first, for by then Kevv had fell out completely. Simply it too big a strain for Kevv to initially handle, once the planets' core had been struck, which was directly connected to hir magical gate in hir mind. Kayoss was worried it might have shattered, but knowing Kevv it had not. Perhaps fractured but not destroyed. Kayoss' own was reduced in a similar manner, perhaps more severe though. Their bodies had changed too, the magic which had held their dragonic forms, once the blast struck, had shattered and shifted...

Kayoss and Kevv had taken the forms that they'd likely fit best. Well both, became Pegacorns. Anthromorphic, like before. Though Kayoss was still chaotic as ever in appearance. One side dark, one side light. One wing draconic almost, one wing angelic... sweetly proportioned either way, not losing hir figure. Just getting a bit shorter, a bit less stocky. Though hir armor was torn now. Hir horn shimmered, trying to keep hir body healing itself, as a 'Corns' energies included self-healing. Though it was slow sadly, and drastic things could still be life-threatening. Though hirs definenlty qualified in that category. A hole through the chest and arm was hardly a gentle injury... perhaps lucky hir heart had been missed. Ribs were cracked though, and hir dark arm was barely held onto hir body. One eye was a milky white... Shi could see nothing out of it. Shi had gotten off the planet, just as the planet had taken more then enough. Shi had felt the explosion even while hir matter raced across space... The shockwave felt so horrid. so many millions, shi knew were lost in that. Millions, lost because of only three beings... Shi knew what presence shi was aiming for but, hardly knew where shi was going to end up.

Shi did make a landing finally, though rough it was. Hearing a cracking beneath hir hooves as shi crashed down, grunting as the stone beneath hir cracked a bit. "Crap..." Shi muttered, staggering along the wall. Seeing through hir left eye, though the sights were blurred. "Where am..." Shi saw a pretty big, fashionable door. "Who is...where is..." Shi growled a bit. Shi had to keep hir thoughts straight! But it was difficult, incredibly difficult. "I need to find... Atleon..." shi muttered. "Thats if im on....Cove..." Shi staggered forward at that point, falling forward. Slamming into the door, biting hir lip to not cry out. Making sure to roll a bit to not be in the doors' way, just in case. Shi hadnt a clue where the hell shi was but, shi knew shi wasnt going to get too far, not like this. Thus shi knew waiting was going to be the best thing shi could do, at least without anyone there to help hir... Or well shi thought no one was there, shi knew hir sensory was off, just about anyone could be there to be honest. "So many..." Shi muttered... This probably the most awful feeling hir mind was ever going to experience. Shi could do nothing, nothing for them at all...

It had been a hard few days or had it been weeks? Atleon had lost track of time completely, too absorbed in everything that had happened on Dragon’s Cove. So many lives had been lost, humans and dragons alike, it all seeming for nothing, which was the worst part of it all. So far, the resistance was small, but it was growing by the second as two- and four-legged started binding together in order to stand against that enemy who threatened to take over their home.

But alas, the prince had needed a small break from all the chaos which had erupted everywhere around him. Like so many other days, he had spent it in consultation with fellow leaders and armsmen, trying to figure out what to do next. There were so many things to consider, not only in the war against a new enemy but also in the everyday lives of the people that had not yet been affected by war. Messengers had to be dispatched, the right words needed to be said and it was all eating away at Atleon because he knew that a lot of it came down to him to take care of.

Tonight, he had needed a break. He had banned every one from the area around his private quarters and had ordered the servants not to let anyone through to disturb him. Tonight, he wanted to be on his own, he needed to breathe, he needed to take a bit of time for himself. He could not go on like this, otherwise he would break himself, and it was not what anyone needed right now, least of all Dragon’s Cove.

He lay on his bed, stretched out as much as possible, stripped of his armour and most of his clothes, wearing no boots but keeping his sword within reach and a dagger on his nightstand. Relaxation was all nice and well but caution paid off in any situation. His thoughts were drifting off after a while, finally releasing the stress of war preparations and wandered over to better times, until finally a scene underneath a waterfall came to mind. A small smile crept over his face, but it was a sad one. The scene reminded him of someone he considered lost, a very dear friend who had disappeared into thin air to go back to where she had come from and he was fairly certain he would never see her again. He had pushed most thoughts about her far into the back of her mind but yet somehow Kayoss always resurfaced. It was as if they had had unfinished business, and in a way, they probably had, seeing that everything had gone so quickly, they had never even had the chance to properly say goodbye.

Suddenly, there was a loud noise outside of his door and Atleon sat bolt upright on the bed, his sword already in hand. A flash of anger rushed through him. Had he not told his servants that he did not want to be disturbed tonight? For just the one night could they follow orders and leave him in peace?!

The sounds coming from the hallway just outside his door were weird however, to say the least. Then muttering was added to it but it all sounded very incoherent, it was definitely not one of his servants or colleagues out there. But what the hell was it? Slipping off the bed and sidling towards the door, his sword ready to slash out at anyone who entered without permission, he listened intently. And then suddenly, a form came crashing into the door, opening with the weight of the fall of whoever it was that had been outside his door, just as Atleon had thought he might have figured out who the voice belong to.

However, what he then saw was definitely not what he had expected. The figure lying on the ground was badly wounded and unlike anything he had ever seen, yet there were features which were unmistakably well known to him. The separation of dark and light to two sides of the body was unmistakable. There was only one being he had ever seen with such a distinct marking, and she was far, far away. It could not be, could it?

And then the creature was muttering some more and the voice.. the voice hit home. “Kayoss?!” Atleon gasped, immediately setting down the sword as he hurried over and kneeled by his friend’s side. “Kayoss is that really you?! What the hell happened?!” His hands were flitting over her body, not touching, just inspecting and taken in the huge damage she had sustained, though he did not know where from. Everything about her seemed different apart from the unique marking, her draconic form almost completely gone apart from one of the wings, which did not look all too good either. The gaping holes in her body were the worst part however and he was afraid that she was not going to make it much longer like this.

“SEND IN THE HEALERS!” he yelled, loud enough that the servants, whom he had positioned far enough away out of convenience matters, would hear him and hopefully react accordingly. “I need healers, NOW!!”

“Kayoss! Kayoss, can you hear me? What happened? How did you get here?” His voice was thick with worry and he desperately wanted to help her, but he knew he would probably only make it worse, no matter what he would try now, the wounds were too severe and so was the bleeding. All he could do for now, was stay by her side and try to gain her attention, her focus, keep her conscious.

Kayoss had no idea shi had made the door open at all. Hell shi barely heard it open, shi had htought it was the floor. At least at first, but after a bit of thought shi knew that wasnt possible. The floor didnt make that noise... However what shi heard next shi had not expected at all. That voice, that long-sought voice.... was it true? Had shi really appeared where he was at? Shi had been trying to that was for sure. Though shi knew hir aim hadn't been too accurate, not in the state hir mind had been in. Though hir good eye moved and swiveled around, rather catching sight of him. Like a big banana in the midst of a famine... Atleon. Someone shi had really thought shi never would get to see once more. The only being to have even came close to roping hir heart and mind. Shi could hear him, could hear his panic. Shi couldnt blame him, shi looked horrible and shi knew it. However shi tried to pull hir mind together, at least some...

It took hir a bit but, shi had to answer and shi knew it. "He-he... destroyed it....all..." Shi murmured. Shi could see his hands, blurred forms moving over hir armored frame... The armor cracked and bent, plus it didnt fit too good on hir new body. Shi grunted a bit, shutting hir eyes both tight, then opening them again. Shi had to focus and shi knew it. Shi couldn't go out like this! No, not this time, shi was needed elsewhere! With many others, not just hir own planet from before, shi had others to help now, plus... someone to want to be close to. Though shi looked up at him squarely finally. "I.... really didn't think I would make it here..." Shi said gently. "It was a-a shot in the dark.... a bit of luck finaly..." Shi muttered, but it was loud enough for him to hear. Shi wanted him to hear, wanted him to know shi was still coherent at least. No, shi couldn't die this day, not at all. Shi would feel so incomplete if shi did and shi knew it. There was too much ahead of hir to go away now. But... that so much wa snow way less. So horrible, who could do such things and not even care of them!? One life or two was one thing but... millions all at once? There had been hatchlings and mothers in that inferno...

Shi heard some footfalls before too long too. Now what was going on. Then shi figured it had to be the healers he had likely sent for... who wouldnt with a being in such a condition as hirself in their presence? Shi heard a board, as they of course got there, about six of them too. Though immediately almost puzzled. They had worked on humans before, and elves and such htings. But.. .an anthromorphic equine? This was interesting, though hir condition made it all so dire... Kayoss grunted as shi felt hands gently grip hir. Moving hir onto their board, so they could get hir off the floor. Well it wasnt exactly a place they could do much work to hir. "Where should she be moved?" One asked Atleon, as Kayoss frowned, looking at them all. Tempted to lash out, how the hell were these people? But shi knew they were only there to help. Thus shi kept hir tongue. Hir attention roving back to Atleon, finding it a bit easier to keep awake with the flurry of activity around hir. "Good to see you not out destroyin yourself somewhere." Shi said, hir voice weak but, holding that hint of amusement...

Atleon was surprised when Kayoss actually did reply to him, but he was glad she was still there with him, coherent enough to reply to his question even if she had trouble getting out the words. It could not be easy, not with the damage she had suffered. The armour she had usually worn was barely recognisable, just like herself really. He could still not quite believe it was her, so different did she look. More like a unicorn than a dragon and so much more fragile than she had ever appeared even when she had dared to reveal more about her true self to him.

“You came to the right place,” he soothed, though he was fairly certain his voice did not sound as doubtfree as he was faking to be right now. “We will get you fixed up again in no time.” He could have smacked himself for the words because he was sure that Kayoss still knew him well enough to know that these were just idle words while inside, he was burning with doubts and wondering if they were really going to be able to help her in the least. A worry which was only confirmed when the healers turned up – they took far too long in the prince’s opinion – and did not really know what to do with themselves. This patient was like none they had ever treated and they were very uncertain.

“Just combine your knowledge. Get one of the horse doctors in if need be and discuss this together, but don’t waste time over theories, she is bleeding to death.” As the healers were moving her onto the board, he wanted to object but then again, the board was much more rigid and would keep her straight, which was the best thing to do. Anything else and she might break even more than she already was and he didn’t want to end up having her in pieces all over his castle. “Put her on my bed, no need to move her far. The sooner you can start doing your jobs, the better. Now, GO GO!”

Atleon rarely shouted so much at his subordinates but he was losing patience. He knew they wanted to do things well and they wanted to get a bit more time to consider their next moves but he wanted to be sure that Kayoss was going to survive this and it sure looked like any second counted. He had to laugh however as Kayoss’ voice got through to him and he realised that she was making fun of him. “Oh no, that time has not yet come. It’s too soon for self-destruction, we have yet so many more things to do. Torture ourselves, collect severe injuries.. the usual, you know. But it’s good to hear that you haven’t lost your sense of humour.” He gave her a smile, an honest one, even though he was still wondering if she was really going to make it. It looked so very, very bad.

Kayoss huffed a bit and shi shivered too. Damn it was cold in here... Either cold or shock, shi had no idea which one it might be. Shi just struggled to keep hir attention on Atleon, for well shi knew itd help hir keep conscious. Shi heard him speak too, such warmth to his voice. But shi could sense his doubt easily. Shi couldn't blame him, shi was a mess! He probably thought hir quite lost, or at least crippled. Then again he probably never interacted with a unicorn in any way. Shi just had to make it for awhile, shi knew hir body was taking the steps it needed... The injuries were severe yes. but they weren't going to destroy her, long as some got tended to. The blood loss was the biggest problem, for even the healing magics of hir body couldn't reproduce blood that fast.

Shi chuckled just a bit, hardly believing shi had actualy gotten there but, damn shi was glad shi did. "Don't play word games with me Atleon, I know I look like a shipwreck in a body." Shi said gently. Well it was true. "But you and your people are good, I am sure ill make it fine with your help." Shi told him gently. Rather the healers were scrambling in an organized manner. Two ran off, to see if they could find a doctor for well, equines, or unicorns in particular, though that was a far'fetched idea. Though the horse doctor was easy enough perhaps. Although this was most definently going to be the weirdest thing they worked on. With a nod they moved hir to his bed, laying hir on one side of it. Rather beginning to daunting task, of cleaning some of those wounds, the severe ones especially, like the hole in hir chest and hir almost severed arm.

It only took a few minutes of such things before Kayoss was ready to beat them over the head with the board shi was laying on, for it was none too pleasant of a feeling. The only thing keeping her from it, was well shi knew it was Atleons' people. Shaking hir head very slightly as shi heard Atleon again too. "I would figure as much, you all seem just the type for doing all of that and then some." Shi said, giving a giggle too. "Its impossible for me to lose that, as little of it as I have. It comes i- BE CAREFUL YOU FOOL!" Shi shouted. Well one of the healers had taken a piece of hir armor off hir, and it had been embeeded into hir flesh a bit from the heat it had been subjected to. Hir side was a mess because of it... "Sorry, we have to get this all off you." He said simply. "Get on with it, ugh." Shi said, rolling hir good eye. It didnt take them too long luckily to have hir stripped down. "This sucks Atleon, do yourself a good favor and never stay for a prolonged time on a planet that is exploding." Shi said with a sigh.

Surprisingly though it didnt take too long, for the two healers who had ran off to get help to return. With two other people... Well they were equine doctors. Though even they gaped for a few seconds at seeing one which stood on two legs, let alone the fact it was a unicorn... with wings. However they immediately began, the most important thing of course, was to stop the blood loss... For that they just restricted the one arm, then began to cover the hole in hir chest some. Stitching off some of the opened arteries. Which wasnt too great feeling for Kayoss... "This is gonna be a long night, hope your ears arent too fragile." Kayoss said simply, grinning to Atleon too. Well it was true, all of these doctors would likely get a hell of an unintentional tongue lashing, cuz this mess hurt!

”Don’t worry, I wasn’t planning on having this planet blown up and I’m hardly ever going to set foot on another one,” he replied dryly, a brief flash of Dragon’s Eye popping into his mind but he pushed that aside. The healers were doing a good job so far and he was satisfied with the fact that the horse doctors seemed to have a general idea how to go about this, typical equine or no. It would indeed be a long night, and it was not going to be easy for any of them. Atleon kept out of the way however, far away so he wouldn’t hinder the healers at their work but close enough that Kayoss could still see him, if she actually could still properly see with the open eye. It looked like it since she was fixing it on people but the prince was not quite so sure the vision was as perfect as it used to be.

When she started lashing out at the doctors and healers around her, who took it with patience, he was glad to see, he felt compelled to rein her in a little however. “Just… take it easy, alright? Don’t kill any of my healers and horse doctors, they’re still needed after they’re done with your mess.” Humour was probably the best way to take the whole situation, how else was he going to react? He had seen screwed up bodies in wars, quite a few of them actually, and it didn’t really bother him anymore, though of course it was always something different to see a wrecked person you didn’t know as opposed to someone you did know, even worse, someone you were close to.

It was why he had never wanted to get involved with someone who would get themselves into battle, this only just proved it right again. He only barely could contain his emotions at the situation, not even sure what exactly the mix of emotions was he felt boiling up inside of him, apart from the obvious worry about Kayoss recovering and the anger at someone being as reckless as to blow up a whole planet. Had he really heard that right?

“So what
has happened to you? Other than getting caught in an explosion. If you’re ready to talk about it yet,” he added. He would let her choose the time to talk about it if she wasn’t ready now but she probably knew him well enough to know he would not let her off the hook until she told him what had happened. Plus, it might be a good distraction for her to tell him this, it would keep her from falling unconscious and it might as well keep her from making his healers suffer too much. “What has happened to the others? Kevv? Gorz?” It was only now he remembered that Kayoss had not made her appearance on this planet on her own and he felt a bit ashamed of having forgotten about the healer and the powerful Kevv, who had had a very large helping hand in saving his butt, until now.

Kayoss at that roilled hir eyes a bit, but shi grunted, feeling more burning, crazy pain as they worked at hir. This sucked and notihng short of it, for well there wasn't much at this point to stop pain. So shi felt the force of it all. Shi cursed a bit too, but shi didn't struggle. Shi was no fool, more movement would damage hir and shi knew it. Plus admittedly, these healers seemed to be good at what they were doing. Despite the pain of it, the wounds themselves didnt look so damn ragged. Which definently was good for this moment, for well an infection could kill someone if it was in the wrong place. Shi heard him though and sighed a bit... "Yeah... youre right, it just... its an easy way to ease frustration I suppose." Shi told him gently. Well it was, even if it wasn't too gentle on the healers' ears. But shi would try to refrain from lashing hir tongue too heavily at them, itd probably be a bit demotivating if shi did it too much shi supposed.

Kayoss could understand the fear of getting involved with another, and seeing something like this happen to them. However Kayoss...wasnt a normal beast in any way. Atleon wa slikely in for alot of surprises in hir recovery. Even with this changed form, killing hir would prove to be an extremely hard feat. The Accelerated healing especially would complement this. Shi could take a whole lot and still recover from it, though some things would take a few days of course. So long as hte horn wasnt severed from hir head, or a fatal wound that would cause immediate death was done, or hir limbs were severed and then separated form hir grasp, shi could recover. Blood loss could prove an issue too, but luckily this time, they had gotten it solved in time.

Hir thoughts were interrupted completely however at Atleons' question. Hir gaze took on a saddened look at first, but then shi huffed. Knowing good and well Atleon would just ask again, if shi did not tell him the story. It was definently not something shi wanted to relive again. But yet Atleon did have a right to know. He definently needed to know this was in no way shape or form his or his peoples' faults. Hell Kayoss knew hwo had helped Paradox, knew exactly who it was, for Kevv had known who it was pretty quickly while hir and Paradox had been attacking each others' minds. Thus hir gaze focused upon Atleon and sharply. "Well, I dont want to speak of it." Shi said. "However I know for a fact youll ask till I do. Plus, you do have a right to know. For this definently did not happen on your planet. But it will concern you and every one of your people, in the long run." Shi said softly.

Taking in a breath shi shut hir eyes. "We had left here, because of a disturbance on our planet. Rather some very large, very strange monsters had appeared without so much as a warning... and attacked. Villages and towns mainly but, two castles of ours got attacked as well. I had htought it some foreign beast at first... but we found out that was a wrong idea." Shi said. "The creatures were created by magic, by the only enemy we actually cant easily take on. Paradox formed them, to help him with his plan. A plan that this time... worked." Hir voice wavered a bit, but shi went on. "Apparently while we went up to deal with his distractions, he was down here. He got two others to help him, then gathered souls for a horrible dark spell. One thats quite forbidden to just about anyone to use. With the amount of souls he collected he altered them into a form of energy, then stored it in his body. Then came to Dragons' Eye. He attacked us... Kevv and I fought him. But yet even he was only a distraction. While we fought he fed the stored energy to a rune he had placed in a forested area on this planet. This rune suddenly shot a transparent energy from itself form here. IT streaked to our planet, where it made contact with the planets' Core. Damaging it beyond repair, and making it unstable. The blast itself actually exploded into parts, and hit many on the planet. Hence the hole in my chest." Shi said. Kevv and I worke dhard to try to repair the core but, it did nothing. Our forms got altered, the planets' natural binding energy no longer able to hold our typical bodies together, we changed. I became this." Shi said softly. "Kevv became similar to me, but... differently colored and powered. Im not sure what became of Gorz beyond that point. I doubt him dead but, so much could have happened." Shi said. "We left just in time, I focused on getting here but the warp was slow, because of my injuries. Hence why I appeared just then outside your door, I tried to focus upon you.... For if I wanted to see anyone after such a nightmare, itd be you." Shi told him simply. "Mother is alive but, I dont know where shi appeared at. Shi had a friend with hir too, I can only hope they make it together." Shi said gently. "Gorz... I dont know." Shi said to him softly. Hoping the best for them all, but..expecting the worst too. "After we left, Dragons' Eye exploded into rubble. Our planet, is no more. There were millions, now there are only five of us left. One is a monstrosity though, and I have an ugly feeling, we will be seeing him again, and again, and no encounter with him will ever be good." Shi said softly with a slight growl...

“I know, I know,” Atleon soothed. Venting was a good way to provide release to the pain but in this case it would not do any good, neither to Kayoss nor to the healers, and he was glad to see that she seemed to think the same, doing a good job on holding herself back. The healers were working quickly but with sure movements and they had soon stripped her completely of her armour, leaving behind a plain view of the many open wounds she had sustained, the almost severed limbs, the slowly drying blood in certain places to crust up the veins. In all honesty, it was disgusting to watch when they began to stitch certain parts together, but it simply was what had to be done if she were to survive.

It probably was as much a distraction to him as to her as well when she was persuaded into recounting what had happened on Dragon’s Eye but frankly, Atleon would have been just as glad not to have known after all. The more Kayoss explained, the more the prince tensed, not wanting to imagine the pain it must have made them feel when every single soul on that planet gave its last crying breath. He felt a pang of sorrow at the thought of this creature maybe following Kayoss here and maybe trying to recreate such a cataclysm on Dragon’s Cove as well. All his people would die, all the dragons, every other being on this planet would be wiped out and it made him wonder whether he would not prefer to die with them instead of survive with the knowledge of what had happened and especially the knowledge that this creature would do the same over and over again without any real chance of ever being stopped.

The idea made him shudder. He was not one to easily scare but that thing was not a creature he ever wanted to encounter. He was glad to hear however that at least the people he had met had made it out alive, if barely. It gave a bit of home, in a bittersweet sort of way. “I’m sorry, Kayoss,” he finally said, not knowing what else to say. The thing was, he knew that she thought the same way in this respect, and despite feeling pain, she knew that what had happened had happened, and there was nothing to be done about it anymore. Atleon usually was rather good with words but in this moment, he was at a loss for them, but maybe there was quite simply nothing more to be added. Kayoss did not know where the others had appeared and her first priority should be to get well again before she attempted anything along the lines of a rescue mission.

“Would you like some sort of refreshment?” he asked. “Once the healers are done, it might do you good,” he added though he was fairly certain that the first thing she would do, would be sleeping for a few hours. It was the best possible way of healing, had always been. Without waiting for an answer, he went out his room into the hallway, leaving the door open so Kayoss could follow his movement, just to be on the safe side. Even if she was strong, losing him out of sight might make her do stupid things in her current condition. Briefly conversing with one of the servants positioned there in the meantime to be handy in case the healers needed something, he ordered lots of fresh water to be brought, hot for the healers to wash and some for Kayoss as well. At the same time, he ordered a few minor nourishing snacks to put beside Kayoss for whenever she felt like it.

KAyoss soon gave a slight shiver. Well being nude did not help the temperature i nthe room. Nor did hir being feverish. Though with such wounds, that was going to happen and htere was notihng shi could do about it. Hell even hsi knew such. So shi didn't complain, shi just waited it out for now. Letting th healers do their work, knowing rhey were working to the very best of their ability. Well the oens who worked in castles were typically the best of the best. At least that's how it had been on hir own planet. Shi was pretty sure such views didn't fray from planet to planet for the most part. Shi knew shi was a sight for Atleon though. But shi was equally sure he had seen things a bit like this before. Thus he wouldn't lose his cool. Though in the morrow he would be hugely surprised oh yes.

Hir eye watched him throughout the telling of hir tale. Watching the tension in his face, the utter surprise in his eyes. Likely wondering how anyone could be so heartless, how any creature could pretty much have no conscious at all. Well they were few and far between that was for sure. But well they did exist. It had been a most horrid feeling. one Kayoss had very much hoped to never feel for their planet. But shi supposed with the powerful enemies they had, it had been a matter of time, before one at least destroyed their home world. However seeing his concern, at the mentioning of where Paradox might ahve gonew, shi sighed. "As much of a monster as he is I... don't foresee him destroying this planet. For even the worst hellish fiend needs a place to keep themselves alive in, a place to call their home. If I were you, id worry more about him conquering everyone... He will come after us, I am sure. If he knows we live, and im pretty sur ehe is counting on it. But... He doesn't want me first. Long as he doesn't destroy Kevv, we should be alright for awhile. For he wont want to draw attention to himself, not yet." Shi said gently.

Though shi shook hir head too, when he said he was sorry. "You have nothing to be sorry over." Shi told him blatantly. "It wasnt you who did such things. But... all the same, its good to know, someone actually does care." Shi said softly, giving a gentle smile too. "Once im better which, wont take long, I hope my mind can touch the other two who fell with me. If I can then I know things will be alright." Shi said. "Or at least, stable, until a move is made by Paradox, or your enemies even. For their going to be a bit more of a pain in my ass in this new form." Shi said, rolling hir eyes. "But, it shouldnt hold me back too much. The mind overcomes matter, if one knows how to manipulate it to the fullest." Shi said. Somewhat glad shi hadn't overcame HIS matter before this. Although now he could be assured shi would likely be there for an extremely long time.

However his next question completely threw hir off. "Waitwha? I..." Shi watched him dash out of the room too. Well shi was alright with something to drink and munch upon shi supposed. It would be good for hir, for shi knew shi was going to be very hungry the enxt few days, for that rapid healing had to make up foritself somehow. Thus hir body would want to eat, to replenish the energy lost. Easy enough to deal with. Glad he didn't run off either, able to see him where he was. Feeling the surtures too as shi was stitched closed in the many gaping wounds, cursing under hir breath but shi knew they were nearing completion... Shi hardly could wait until they were done, then this crazy part could be overwith.

The servants were quick to obey, pots of hot steaming water appearing relatively quickly and another servant brought a few logs for the fireplace in Atleon’s room in case it would be necessary to heat the room. The prince nodded at their quick thinking, glad for it because it made life easier on him a lot of the time. It was only when the water had been brought – he didn’t particularly mind the food being brought later only, she might fall asleep soon anyways – that he finally came back to Kayoss’ earlier words.

“If Kevv is in any state similar to yours, chances are that Paradox might get to her quicker and harder than you might imagine,” he grunted as he considered the possibility. But as soon as the words had left his mouth, he almost regretted having spoken them seeing that Kayoss was in such a fragile state and already worrying far too much, it had not been necessary to add further doubts. “But I guess that is not bound to happen any time soon.” He actually believed what he had just meant to be a reassurance. Kevv was far more resourceful it seemed than most, so she was probably very aware of the possibility of Paradox hunting her down while she was almost defenseless. She must have thought of that before she had portaled somewhere.

“Rest first, and get well, give them the chance as well to rest before you strain your own and their minds with trying to find them,” Atleon suggested. Even though he was unsure how exactly the mind link worked, it seemed plausible to him that not only she but they as well had to be fit to use it. Pacing the room from one side to the other while the doctors kept fiddling around on Kayoss, Atleon tried to ignore the pang of worry in his chest whenever he glanced at her broken form. Seeing her as a unicorn did make him wonder a little how it had happened that the side-effect of Dragon’s Eye’s core being ripped to shreds was being turned into a unicorn when the draconic appearance fell away. Why a unicorn? But he didn’t ask the question, knowing that sooner or later details would come up either way.

He did have to force himself more and more however not to sigh at the many wounds. It didn’t like seeing it and it reminded him too much of the numerous times he had found Siofra battered and almost completely broken. She had always made it and he knew he could trust her to life through mostly anything but it began to gnaw at him that there was now one person in his life he would be so worried about. Then again, the more he thought about this, the surer he became that he could say the same for Kayoss as for Siofra. After all, she had survived a blast, so she would survive this or any battle between humans and dragons to come, unless someone figured out her weakness and shamelessly took advantage of it. However, this did make him certain that he would be able to keep his usual composure even if his friends were out in battle, he could be certain they would pull through and that he could lead without being distracted by it. Tough as nails, that was Kayoss, or at least that was how he had gotten to know her.

As the doctors began to wrap up their work for the time being, Atleon thanked them for their well-done job and asked them to regularly come check up on her over the course of the next few hours. One of them shot him a disdainful look but quickly recovered himself and replied: “Of course, Prince Atleon, that is standard procedure.” Atleon had seen the look and he was not happy about it but he also understood that the doctors were not very fond of someone else telling them how to do their jobs, thus he acted as though he had not noticed. Turning to Kayoss, he pulled an armchair away from the fireplace and towards the bed, slumping down hard. “You should get some rest now. Heavens know you need it.”
