(A bit crude, but that is ((hopefully)) OK. ^^)

Edward blinked at the Dragon's reply, then nodding heavily. Glancing at his Oroboras dragon with his golden eyes, his eyes were covered with his eyeslashes for the split seconds that he blinked. Then revealing his golden pools again. His blonde ponytail tumbled against his shoulder, some of his blonde hair covering one side of his face. His right side of his body slowly sinking into the sand, then Edward suddenly pounced from the fragments and glared at the sand, his eyes slit. Kreis continued the low growling session.

Cato looks up at the sky. "It's the tribal dragon again. He has alrweady killed at lest onhuman and a horse. I bet he is sizing up one of us to fill the void that is still in his stomach." Cato looks at the group. "We need to find more cover then the open sky just in case he decided to visit us." Cato was so used to stressful situations. Before he washed up on the island he was a Roman General. He knew how to handle situations that nontrained people who run away from. Argento paws at the ground the prescence of the tribal making the horse uneasy. He was never around so many dragons aat once. Usually Cato brought him over once he was done killing the dragon.

Jumping up onto Argento's back and putting the helmet back on his head so it covers all but his jaw and chin. "You all need to go now." Wheeling Argento around Cato heads for the top of the next dune to get Xaoc's attention. Pulling out the long bow from it's holdster and a arrow from the quiver he takes aim at the dragon. If the dragon was out of range he didn't mind as long as he got the dragons attention. He had yet to see Lucien.

Xaoc smirked, he veered off and went straight for Lucien. He went high in the sky then suddenly attacked, the horse had sensed Xaoc's coming and had leapt foward causing Lucien to smirk as he rolled off the horse's back and watched as Xaoc lifted it into the sky and tore it to shreads letting blood fall like rain.

Lucien shook his head, of Course he knew Xaoc was ticked off as the blood splattered on him. But he was smart. He waited until Xaoc went to grip Lucien and thats when he flashed just to the side. Xaoc hissed and flicked his tail, "LUCIEN!" Xaoc roared. Lucien smirked and flashed again to where he had origonally stood when Xaoc had first went to attack him. Xaoc snarled and flung the horse's shreaded corpse, even through all these years Lucien had yet to have been killed, they were a likely pair, but Xaoc just didn't want it...Not again. So instead he flew up to the sky and seemed to vanish as he flew to a large mountainous rock quite a ways away.. It was a town...

Lucien shook his head, "Now I need another horse..." He mumbled then looked over seeing the people, his face was void of all emotions, which was how it usually was.

Mizu looked to the golden eyed human, "I am Mizu. And your names are?" HE asked shiftign his gazeto the dragon his eyes more seriouse concentrated most would say.

Edward nodded at the dragon, flipping his left hand in front of him and bowing to the dragon. "My name is Edward, Mizu, and this is my Oroboras dragon; Kreis." He said politely. His golden eyes peered at the dragon's red blazing glare. Kreis lowered his head into a bow, smoke seeped from the creatures nostrils as he was still quite wary of the dragons. The crystal eyes glanced over the Masters shoulder.

Cato watches as Xaoc flails around in the air as if battling something. Cato watches the unusal behavior as Xaoc flies off towards a....town. "Great." Pulling his helmet off slowly wondering if he will ever have this nightmare of a day end he looks over at the group of Kies, Edward, Mizu, and the two who had come out of the desert. Pulling Argento around Cato rides off in there direction. He sits just outside of the group, he was used to being on the fringes all his life. Argento shifts his weigh as he stands there.

Mizu nods and looks back up to the sky as Xaoc takes off. Snd sags his shoulders, "Aw man...He left" He shoots up above the clouds to try and get a better veiw but nothing he could only find ot that Xaoc was headed for a city. Mizu cursed and flew back down towards the desert.

Cato pulls the sheild off his back like a shirt. Up and over his head. Adjusting the strapps he re-attached it to the saddle covering his right leg. Argento paws at the ground with impacience. Cato rubs the horses neck trying to ease him. A blow dryer warm breeze picks up blowing some of the fine sand into his face. SHeilding his eyes he scans the sies for any trouble while the others talk.

Bored Lucien flashed closer to the people. He watched them then began to wal towards them, the desert heat causing a sheen of sweat to glitter across his bare chests. The tattoo glittering all the more. It seems Xaoc wants nothing to do with us... Lucien listened to Death's words and shrugged.
These people hadn't seemed to see him flashing, that was good thing.

Mizu's eyes darted towrd a small flash he had seen out of the corner of his eye. He turned his head slwely lowering himself and landing her pushed himself up o his paws and turned his neck to try and get a better veiw. All he saw were humans. He cocked his head but said nothing.

cato sees another wavering figure out on the sand. Pulling Argento around he rides slowly over to Lucien. The horses hooves sink into the shifting sand as they go over the dunes. Cato pulls up a few feet away waiting for Lucien to close the ditance.

Lucien walked up to the closed distance and looked at the horse. The feeling of death crept out from him it seemed as the tension seeme to blanket the air.

((Writers block... Oh and as for the flash.. There isn't any light... Its just he is able to move from one place to another in an instant with but just a thought...lol...Just so you know.. It comes in handy during battle...*

Argento dances around as he feels death closer to him. Cato pats the horse trying to sooth the dancing stallion. A shiver runs down his spine as the beath of death drifts by him. "You lost int he desert or where you in an attacked caraven?" He offers Lucien the wine skin. He could tell a fellow fighter by how they hold themselves. Cato sizes up Lucien.

(Yeha i read the books so i have a clue no worries *S*)

Lucien decided to play along as he took a quick sip from the wine skin. "No I was riding through here with my hrse until the tribal battle blood dragon attacked and ripped my horse to shreads." He said nodding his head to the sand covered peices of horse still strewn all over. But he seemed not to care, his emotions well kept under a tight control. Its no wonder he became leader of the Budapest warriors.

"Wouldn't be the first one he has killed today. Killed a human earlier. Now i have to baby sit some dragons and some humans." He nods his head in the direction of the group. "Looks like he flew off towards a town I pitty them but at lest he isn't here trying to get us." Argento bits at his bit. Cato rubs the black sweety hide as the horse paws the sand.

Death started to tug at Lucien, the words started to scream in his head, We MUST take the souls to Hell...... Lucien shrugged, "I'll be right back..." He walked off, seemingly far enough away from the human to flash into the spirtual realm where he had to take the souls to hell... No heaven this time to soothe the ache.. Just the fiery demonic pits of hell...
After returning he walked over to the man again. "Sorry, now what was your name? I seem to have missed it..." Lucien questioned after hearing Death settle some more.

"My name is Cato Aquila but everyone calls me Cato. You are?" Cato holds out an arm to shake in greetings. It had been some time since he had used his full name. More like since the day he and Argento found themselves wrecked ont he islands shores.

Lucien pondered using his actual name... the name well known by mortals as well as immortals. "Lucien." Was all he said as he barely shook the man's hand beforereturning it to his side. Death seemed to watch from the back of Lucien's mind blankely, bored even... But still not ranting not yet atleast.

"Lucien. I have heard that name before." He knew it was tied to Pandora but he cuoldn't remember. He shrugs."Oh well." He wonders if he had ever heard of him. Probably not. Mentally shruging he slidesout of the saddle to get his legs to bend back int he right direction instead of bowed. Cato pulls the chest plate off and straps it to the bed roll.

"So is there anywhere to get another horse from around here?" He asked, of course he could always flash from place to place but he didn't want to be conspicuous.

Xaoc whipped his tail against the cave he had entered, "Lucien... He is back...Immortal..." He mimbled to himself in aggravation

"The caravan might have one but there about a half a day ahead of us now I think." Grumbles. He was hopeing to get to the oasis before night fall now he and probably the whole group would get there later."Maybe they stopped at the next oasis then we may not be to bad off." He looks back at the group.

"I have a better idea..." Lucien smirked and flashed away. When he flashed back he had an Egyptian black Arabian. He got on the skid-dish horse and soon calmed it enough to be rideable... All that he did was have Death threaten the creature and it behaved instantly. "No need now..." he murmured. OK so he had just flashed in front of someone he had no clue who they were... Oh well, it really wasn't something to worry about...

Listens to Lucien's idea. Cato raises a brow at the poofing. 'Well that would be handy in battle. Nice horse." Argento does a horse like roar at the Arabian as Cato pulls hard on the reins. Cato remounts the horse. "What should we do with them," noding over to the two humans and the dragons. The dragons he wasn't worried about but more the humans. He couldn't leave them to bake int he desert.

"I suppose we should get them to the safest and closest Oasis...Especially if Xaoc... Comes back.." He shrugged and jerked the stallion away from Cato's horse seeing it its auds. Death whispered another warning into the horse's thoughts and it calmed down. "To be honest I expected you to act different seeing me flash..." Lucien admitted his voice void of any emotion.
