Ace finished her sandwich and drank some of her juice.
"Ashlyn you know these men are so lucky all they have to do is a nursary and a play room we had to carry the kids for nine mouths and have back aches and puke and have cravings then we had to give birth to the kids and they are complaining." Ace drank more juice.

"Yeah but you would be surprised when yours gets up during the middle of the night for night feedings and is willing to change dirty diapers." Paris tries to to choke back the laugher at the thought of Maddox getting up and changing diapers. A pillow flies out of no where and hits Paris in the back of the head.

Ace laughed and rolled her eyes.
"yeah the middnight feedings are my problem for a while still." Kain started to cry and Ace rolled her eyes.
"hungery tired or dirtty dipper." Ace stood and took Kain from Lucien and head up the steps. mummering to the baby.
"Bring her up if she starts to Cry Torin." Ace called back.

"Ok." Reyes looks at his empy arms now that Kain isn't there and raises a brow to Torin. Smiling Torin sets the little girl in Reye's arms. "I have a feeling Reyes will be a perminant babysitter." The Lord chuckle as Cameo come in and Kain instatly starts ccrying before Cameo could open her mouth. "Oopse sorry Cameo." The female Lord shrugs as he takes Kain upstairs.

Ace sat up in Torin's room Feeding Kain. she laid him down in the crib Card had put in there once he was done and burbed. she sang softly to him her back to the door.

"I will have to get us some rocking chairs." Torin had seen pictures of humans doing that with their children, maybe he could get the custom made. He thinks it over as he goes about changing Toir's diaper then seeing her in Ace's arms since he didn't have the right equipment for it. "Did he eat well?" Torin goes over and looks at Kain sleeping.

"yes he did." Ace said feeding Tori. She smiled at Torin.
"you don't need a rocking chair for a kid." Ace burbed Tori and she yawned and reached toward her father.
"i think we got a day's girl on our hands." Ace helped Torin cradle his daughter.
"gently rock her in your arms now, she be asleep before you know it then."

"No but they like the motion as you sit with them helps them fall alseep quicker. SOmething to do with the motion mimicks the motion when you walked while they where sitllinside you." Torin picks up Toir and rocks her inhis arms as he sits in his chair rocking her as best as he canin a computer chair. He ends up lounging one leg over the arm rest and cantin his body to the side so she could lay on him as he rocks her. He humms a lullaby he heard long ago to her. "To bad Kain is alseep already I could probably lay him on me too and there would still be room." Since Torin was built like a warrior he had a broad chest.

"probaly." Ace watched and she moved to the top of the bed and sat with the pillows behind her.
"your a natural at this." Ace yawned and touched her throat knowing that it had started to bruise.

"Am I?" Torin looks down and sees Toir asleep he puts heron her back next to her brother. Kissing the infants head he goes and lays down beside Ace. "How is your throat?" He moves her hair aside so he can look at it better.

"alright i guess just sore nothing i won't die from."Ace curled up next to Torin.
"it scares me how well they can all handle babies. even you" Ace kissed his cheek and curled up next to him.
"if i don't wake up and one of them is crying make me get up alright we should make them drink from botels soon that way you can help out."

"You would be surprised how tender and careful a warrior can be when he holds something precious. Even if it is not their own." All of the Lords at one time or another had wished for a normal life and a family. "Yeah get them on bottles now and we can always milk you." He smiles as he hold her close.

Ace shoved at his shoulder playfully.
"i am not a Cow Torin." she let him hold her and she cuddled up to him.

"If you say so Ace." Torin holds her tight and drifts off to sleep. Torin wakes when the kids cry slipping out from around Ace. With bleery eyes he goes over to Kain and picks him up then collects Toir and rocks them.

Ace woke up in the earily morning and smiled at the site of Torin asleep in his chair the kids on him. Ace walked over and put them back in their crib befoer she shook him awake.
"they so have you wrapper around their little fingers guess i am going to have to do the disaplin."

Torin chuckles. "Yes I guess so. But isn't that a moms job? To be the disciplinarian." He pulls her into the chair with her. 'Just don't turn into your mother ok?" Torin says playfully.

"no way i will do that, i won't sell my kids to get rid of them just because they are diffrent." sighs and looks at the kids.
"no way i would ever do that but you have to feel sorry for them."

"Why cause they had a messed up grandmother who is now dead? Or cause they have so many unusual uncles and one aunt that they wont want to be around?" Torin look up at Ace.

"no i was thinking more they are going to age and as they do we stand still so they will be pluged to look like our siblings and not our children, but on a good note for us we get enterity together, bad note we watch them grow and die."

"Who knows maybe they will have eternal life like us." Torin wonders if Anya would be willing to grant them eternal life like she did to Ashlyn. "Let see what time will hold for them if it lokks like they will grow old on us." Torin rises effotlessly. "Why don't you get something to eat I will watxh them."

"want me to bing you something?" Ace went to the door and pause her hand on the door knob.

"Sure." Torin turns and looks down at the kids. At the corner of his eye he sees Ace. 'What is wrong?"

"nothing." she smiled and went down the hall. ~years later~
Tori stood infront of her parents home, she had left when she was 10 to go to a bording school she chose now she felt a pull back to the place, she hadn't seen any of her family in ten years. her eyes where Teal and her hair a golden blond.

Darius was sparing with his father maddox and his uncle Lucien. They where double teamiong him as they raced through the woods around the castle. Darius was trying his best to keep as quiet as he could as where his two persuers. Weaving around the trees and ducking under fallen limbs he was coming around to the front. He knew if he could get to the front door he would finally beat the pair. Unfortunatly he didnt see Toir standing in the road looking up at the castle.

Tori fell to the ground and looked up at the guy who ran into her, she was pinned under him. she brought her foot up and put on his chest and tossed him over her head she jumped up and brushed her self off.
"Watch it." she yelled at the guy now she was glad for those classes of self defence she had taken.
