the days passed and soon it was the night of the party they where staying at the hotel where it was going to be held the girls where almost done and told the guys they would meet them at the bottom of the steps.

Kain and Darius stood at the bottom of the steps. They had their backs to the stairs as they looked at the croud of people. Darius still wore his usual sunglasses almost as if they were a part of him now. Feeling eyes on him Darius turns and looks up at the top of the stiar. He smiles as he sees Toir in her dress. kain whose back was still to the star gets elbowed in hte side. Darius had to take a few deep breaths before acending the stairs with kain by his side. Once standing beside her Darius holds out his arm for Toir to take. Kain doing the same for Alicia. Kain takes a glance at Alicia's back and smiles. He whispers in her ear. "The dress was perfict on you. ANd now the world will see a real angel." Kain kisses the back of Alicia's hand. Darius looks at Toir. "You look wonderful Toir. I think you and Alica should make dresses for a living. Any girl would die for a dress made by you both."

Toir smiled her midnight blue dress had a full skirt and a golden corset belt on it.
"thanks." she tucked one of her lose curls behind her ear and walked with him she came up short when vlad came over.
Alicia blushed
"thank you.....o no." she said the last part when Vlad approuched with Anita on his arm.

Kain held Alicia's arm and stood tall. He watched the new comer feeling warm heat of power. Darius had told kain what he was when they went to go get tuxes. So now Darius had a small group who knew.

Darius' grip tightens on Toir. If it was to tight he didn't realix it. He would never conciously hurt Toir or anyone he considered family. Darius held his pwoers in check this time as he felt the little bit of power Vlad let leek out. "Vlad. Anita." He inclines his head to each in a gentalmanly greeting.

Toir rolled her eyes.
"Daruis grip." Toir moved infront of him and cocked her head at vlad.
"We just came to say hi don'r worry Daruis Vampire isn't my taste, i just like to mess with Toir."
"tell me about it." Toir mumbled and pulled Darius away Alicia fallowed

Darius losened his grip on Toir. "Really could have fooled me since you keep messing with her and over stepping your boundaries." He follows Toir as she pulls him away from them. Darius dips his head down and rubs his cheek against Toir's as he looks at Vlad. Darius knew Vlad would understand what he was doing since he was another shifter. "Let us try and enjoy ourselves and hopefully stay away from them."

Toir looked at Darius questioning him as Vlad laughed.
"what was that for?" Alicia smiled and laughed under her breath.
"Come on Toir lets dance." Alicia grabbed Toir's hand and pulled her to the dance floor.

Darius and Kain walk over to a corner to watch the girls and at the same time watch Vlad and Anita. They had glasses of champain ready for the girls when they where done dancing. "I will have to try and get you onto the floor with me when you are rested." Darius hands her the glass.

Toir handed her glass to her brother and pulled Darius onto the dance floor. she spun around him and laughed.

Alicia shook her head.
"She never needs a break." Alicia smiled at Kain She relized she was starting to feel something for her bestfriends brother.

Darius laughed as she spun him. He holds her close as they dance. "It is nice to see you in something formal." It was also nice to see that she wasn't going tot be leaving again. At lest he hoped.

"Well we used to say that she was part energizer bunny. She keeps going and going and going." Kain smiles at Alicia and wraps an arm around her shoulder. "Has anyone say anything about your back?" Kain finishes his glass.

"no, well Toir was impressed and wanted to know how much you charged then she thought and decied Darius would kill her if she got a tattoo." Alicia laughed and finished her own glass and watched Toir dance.
"They seem to be getting along better."

Toir fell to the side when Vlad in wolf form knocked her away from Daruis and Anita knocked him to the side in wolf form. the glass above where they where standing broke and two hunters came down right where they where standing.
"grat i left my wepons in my other dress." Toirsaid from where she was on the floor she sat up Vlad standing infront of her protectivly.

"Yes thankfully it was really boaring at home without Darius there. When Toir was there before she left the first time the whole castle was filled with laughter. The day she left Darius closed himself away. He only came out when he was around me." Kain offers Alicia a hand. "Care to dance with me?" Kain turns to see the chandalier crashing tot he floor. Kain pushs Alicia behind him.

"It's ok I didn't." Darius pulls a small revolver out of an anckle holster. Standing up Darius holds out his hand for Toir and helps her up. Readjusting the coat that went ascue in the fall he undoes the button. Crome flashes int he remaining light. "Get Alicia to safety and if their are any left comr back." He does't spare Toir a glance as he keeps his eyes on the hunters.

Toir grabed Alicia's hand and left the ball room quickly she just didn't expect more hunters in the hall way she got them threw the group and closed the door to a room. she sat her back to the doo her gown ripped. Alicia put pressure on the wound that wasin Toir's shoulder.
"Darius we are in the blue room toir is whit me i don't think she will be leaving she is torn up pretty good." Alicia said taking in the other wound in Toir's stomach and arm and one dangerously close to her heart.

"Aright Alicia. You two keep safe. Once we take care of theones here we will meet up with you there." Darius and Kain make short work of theones in the ball room with Vlad and Anita's help. Moving like deadly preditors through the chaos of the people who didn't know about the war between the Lords and the Hunters. Darius and Kain step out into the hallway leading to the bluue room. "We are in the hallway." Darius talks into the com. unit.

"fallow the dead guys then the blood." Alicia said helping Toir over to a chair.
"Rest Toir it will be fine." Alicia moved away from Toir before she could bite her.

"Try and convince Toir to rest." Darius and Kain race down the hall moving around bodies. The slow down as the come to a corner, the slwoly move around it and see a group of hunters getting ready to breech the door. Darius whispers. "Both you need to hide their going to try and break down the door." Darius look at Kain who nods. They both step into the hallway and start firing ont he group of hunters. Darius wondered when Lucien would show up.

"Can't move her, she is out of it and she is to heavey for me to move." Alicia said as she moved into the shadows scared.

Toir tried to fight the darkness but it got to be to much it got to be to heavy she knew she was slipping into the spirt relm quickly and she didn't like it.

"We will be with you shortly then." Shooting down the last few Darius knocks ont he door. "Alicia let us in." Once they where inside Kain checks on Alicia as Darius goes to Toir. Darius picks her up. "We need to get out of here now before we are spotted." Darius looks to see if there is another door leading out of the room.

"we need to get her help" Alicia said fallowing Darius.

Toir stood in the spirt relm looking around.
"alright not funny i am half way her half way there." she shook her head and sighed.

"Where can we get help Alicia?" Darius moves down a side hall as they hear sirens in the front. Darius looks down at Toir from time to time. "Alica she doesn't look so good. Myabe I should feed her."

Lucien appears inforont of her. "Hey kiddo." Lucien stands their watching her. "Don't worry you aren't dead you kinda in a wierd state of living for vampires." Lucien holds out his hand. "C'mon you can keep me company while I deliver the souls.

"alright i was going to be royal pissed if i was dead.....i hope to hell you can get me back to full life soon." Toir took his hand and went with him.

"We need to get her healed first.....only place i can think of would be to witch." Alicia said leading the way.

"Well let's get going then." Darius runs behind Alicia while Kain makes sure they aren't followed. Darius didn't know if Vlad and Anita where with them still he wasn't going to take the time to check. Right now all that mattered was making Toir better.

Lucien looks off intot he spirit relm. "I don't think I can Toir remember I carry the demon of death. I don't htink that is in the scope of my powers." Sorrow was heavy in his eyes s he truned back to look at Toir. Lucien pulls Toir into the pysical world as a ghost as he goes about collecting. He brings her to heaven less time then he brought her to hell where most of the spirits went to. "I'll stay with you till they can get you back to your body."

"I'll be fine Lucien i am a big girl and there is something i want to do while i am up here a little pay back for Alicia, hey trust me i know i am only in heaven cuz of you but i belong in hell for all the crap i have done." Toir walked off and came back 30 min later an evil smile on her face.

Alicia led them threw the forest mumbling about screwing up her dress all for Toir. she knocked on the wooden door to the cabin.
"Calling in a fave on behalf of Toir she need healing and i'd say quick." Alicia walked in when the women steped aside and motined to the bed.
"put her there other wise Heather can't talk she is mute." Alicia explained not missing a beat.

Lucien smiles and chuckles. "You would be surprised." With that he left her.

Darius puts Heather down ehre she is directed. He put all his faith in what she could do. "Please do all you can. I don't knoww what I would do if I lost her again."

Alicia sat down by the fire and watched as heather worked Toir's wound heald slower then normal but they healed.
"It should be okay Daruis your uncle wouldn't want to take her away from you." Alicia paused and watched heather make hand motins.
"She want you and Kain out so she can heal the last wound."

Toir looked around the white place called heaven.
"Yeah i so don't belong heri would distroy it in four minutes if i was up here for ever." she spoke to her self only.
