Crumbling Foundations [Aero & Grimm]

Raven was preparing for Deos' arrival, killing the higher ups oh would contest her, 'one day she would return' was the phrase that kept going through his mind, every throat cut and wine glass poisoned was for her, and his signature mark, a raven's feather would be left in tow. After a long wait, he was in a cat house nearby the place Deos was staying, staunching his sorrow with women and drink as he usually tended to when he wasn't on a job, constantly switching from one to another, wishing that Deos was the one he was satisfying.

Then he smelled it, her scent, unmistakably beautiful and exquisite, nearby and masked by the masses, but someone with such devotion as Raven never forgets, and he moved to the balcony of his own room and smelled again, subconsciously channeling his wind magic to smell more that a human could.

He then followed along the balconies of the houses, jumping from balcony to balcony, adamant he could get to her, and in so doing shortly after, saw her. In all her beauty that he hadn't seen for so long he almost fell from the rooftops and balconies, managing to catch himself with one hand only and swing back up, moving quickly now he was eager to get to her, to see her, to smell her.

He moved gracefully as he reached her building he did a foreword roll and stopped in a kneel at her feet with a sigh and then looked to her with sheer glee in his eyes "Long time no see mistress, Salazar Zarrox, code name Raven, at your disposal once more milady"
