Likes/Dislikes: Zeke likes being outdoors, nature always having been a friend to him. He enjoys working with wood and he is highly amazed by dragons, having wanted to visit the Guardian’s Peak of Dragon’s Cove ever since he had first heard mention of it. Not one to avoid fights when they came to him, especially enjoying a fist fight once in a while, he still preferred not to get into them if it could be avoided. He likes being surprised – in a good way – and learning/seeing new things every day. He dislikes careless people and everything that usually goes hand in hand with such an attitude. He also dislikes giving up too easily on something and can be quite stubborn. He likes making people happy, or laugh at least and isn’t offended if people don’t take him seriously, he hardly expects most to do that anyway.
Description: Zeke has chestnut brown hair, relatively short but long enough that he can play around with it once in a while to give himself a wild, spiky look just for the sake of it. He has dark brown eyes and a slightly tanned expression. His body is of normal built, not too slender, not too muscular and he is of average height. He usually wore light clothing that was not too heavy on the body when travelling for miles a day. A belt filled with daggers kept his trousers from sliding down and he also carried a few concealed daggers here and there. Good-natured and quite funny, he is easy to get along with, though he trusts people too quickly, but being quite caring about his body, he attempts to prevent it from getting hurt or killed. He tries to not immediately trust everyone, but he has a hard time not considering people good unless proven bad. He has had his fair share of bad experiences but it did not impede his behaviour towards other humans or creatures. He loves his family, especially Selene, who he had always tried to support in her not quite so conventional ways, especially after their younger sister had gotten married and the parents were pushing Selene to do the same, regularly picking out suitors for her, very much to the amusement of Zeke. He understood her though, not wanting to marry someone she did not care for, he himself being something of a free spirit. He has broken a few hearts during his travels with his sweet nature but on a whim deciding from one day to the next that it was time to move on, not talking his current loved one with him. It also got him cursed a few times, alas he did not believe in such things, so he did not worry about it. He also knew that Selene had cursed him quite a few times after he had left, and he knew that she felt like he had abandoned her but he simply had not been able to act differently. His impulses were what drove him, whether for the good or for the bad, but he was going to follow them wherever they may lead him, whether it would cause trouble to himself or others on the way or not. It was his way of being, of living.
Other: After having left his home quite a few years ago because he wanted to see something of the world, feeling oppressed living the life of a simple village boy, he has been travelling Dragon’s Cove and a few areas around it too, though in all those years, he still has not come that far, constantly distracted by various things. He regularly takes on small jobs to earn a bit of money so he can buy new clothes, food and a roof over his head. Seeing that he has had an apprenticeship with a carpenter in his home village, he knows a fair bit of how to handle wood, though he much prefers the small carvings, etching symbols and decorations into pieces of wood instead of building the rough materials into furniture or similar objects. He was quite handy with a carving knife and he often sells small figurines he creates along his travels.
