| Setting + Reference Maps
The Settings and Reference Maps are here so you know when you sign up to a roleplay which setting exactly you're signing up for. And for that matter what it's like, what the inhabitants are like and also who owns the territory be it neutral, SR, DDC or ME...perhaps something else. First off the /general/ map, does not display territories, but does have all the town/city/village names and area description.
Visit the Map Here
Also, since we are unsure on the true scale of Dragons Cove (I doubt even the inhabitants know that! As such, the people often measure distances by time taken to travel there)
A rough guide is that, from Quinsilla to Racksom is a 5-day *walk* assuming 8 hours of rest, if you translate that distance across the map you can find out some travelling times; also take into account the terrains; areas that are harder to survive in typically will take longer to cross and milder regions (e.g south east of Dragons Cove) are pretty trouble free.
From Quinsilla to Racksom on horseback however also at a *continual walk* assuming 8 hours rest, is around 3 days. Galloping we can't give an example of; since it's entirely dependant on the animal.
When travelling via dragon a rough guess will do, a look at your dragons speed and endurance stats on the Dragon Index will help you a great deal.

| And then there is this map, this is a territorial map with all "red" colours showing the extent of land ruled by The Surahnian Rebels, and the blue colours showing the grasp that the Defenders of Dragons Cove have over the land. Any greyed out areas are neutral/no-mans-land areas. Recently, purple now represents Maledictus Eice territory.
Safety of course, is fully dependant on which side characters are on, and the conditions of the areas themselves. It's a tough world out there

| Towns cities and Villages!
Are you ready to be blown away for reading Material? Don't feel you have to read this the entire way through to roleplay though; it's here for your convenience and helps if you're going into a setting you're unsure of.
All settlements will have an icon respective of who they belong to.
Maledictus Eice Surahnian Rebels Defenders of Dragons Cove No symbol represents neutrality/anarchy/other
Name: Wealth: How wealthy the place is out of 10 Aura: Is this a grim hellhole or a wonderful place to live? (0- horrible, 10- wonderful) Corruption: How underhanded are things here, is the crime high? Can you trust their political dealings? (0 none, 10 rife) Other: Anything notable about this place?
Name: V1….Bolarf Wealth: 1/10 Aura: 3/10 Corruption: 0 Other: Isolated on the immense plains of sand within the central rift, Bolarf has no easy access at all to other places. These people survive on the unique creatures they can catch in the sea only on their shores where the water is especially warm, also collecting corals. The only way to transport anybody/thing to and from here is by dragons flight or any other flying creature. Their trade has dropped almost entirely with the collapse of DDC presence in the south west and the interference on desert routes.
Name: V2…Plurith Wealth: 0/10 Aura: 0/10 Corruption: 0/10 Other: This small village has a somewhat lofty view over the sandplains/rift, as well as the downlands. Beneath them and further down the edge of the cliff lies the village of Caspan. This village has been sacked by the Dragons of M.E and not a single non dragon is known to remain within it's ruins. It presents now a meeting place for the rising force of M.E. There were a few survivors, but nobody will be even thinking about returning to a hoard of bloodthirsty and furious dragons, let alone take it back.
Name: V3 …Golam Wealth: 3/10 Aura: 7/10 Corruption: 2/10 Other: Here in the remote north western point of Dragons Cove is nothing that special, the land however is very good for farming and this area seems very idyllic in it's beauty with long stretches of sand, these people show no interest as a part of the DDC, nor the affairs of the quarreling factions.
Name: V4…Jiluria Wealth: 5/10 Aura: 4/10 Corruption: 8/10 Other: Kaionar's little sister, Jiluria is less violent, slightly more easy to live in but with a great undercurrent of black market trade. The people control the area through the everbridge choke point and frequent the azure caves for precious stones. Raiders are common in this area. However, with the emergence of the S.R very close by, the old raiders find their existence threatened as trade has slowed to a mere trickle of underground deals from the west to east in the south.
Name: V5…Tarz Wealth: 6/10 Aura: 8/10 Corruption: 4/10 Other: Tarz’s people are peaceful and serene most of their lives and in full devotion to the guardian dragon order, but when the time comes to it they will defend their land zealously, it's very difficult to avoid the patriotic fever around this area too. They are as wealthy as they are because the people here have learnt many different trades rather than a specialization. They have their fair share of crime, Tarz occupies an important area of the map and is the home of the water stone; kept in the branch of the river Tarz that flows underground.
Name: V6…Turich Wealth: 4/10 Aura: 4/10 Corruption: 2/10 Other: A modest village set in the stunning scenery of Dragons Coves mountains, just south of the harsh cold of the ice plains. Turich has very little to no contact at all with any cities or towns and the people have become fully self sufficient and un involved, it's not that they couldn't venture further...It's more a case of not wanting to. Further north, nomadic Ice Plain tribes can be found, too. Corruption simply isn't thought possible in this small, rural comunity beyond a bit of tribe-violence.
Name: V7…Caspan Wealth: 1/10 Aura: 7/10 Corruption: 7/10 Other: Although it stands in the shadow of the Plurith cliffs, this village holds itself next to a water source with a good vantage point over the jungle and desert. Though there is very little money to go around, the people still manage somehow. Corruption in this village is mostly the fault of Kaionar travellers, using Plurith as their check point. The tiny presence of ruling in this quiet village allows for many crimes to be taken away from other towns and staged in Caspan. In spite of this, the locals are friendly and wish to be free of the frequent raids. Things are getting tougher though as the dragons of M.E have clustered together, life is getting difficult and their town is in the firing line for destruction at their claws.
Name: T1…Quinsilla Wealth: 3/10 Aura: 3/10 Corruption: 7/10 Other: Recently destroyed by the S.R as their entrance to Dragons Cove, the people have been enslaved and any resisting have been killed. The resistance has been almost completely annulled using Zartear Straten's extremely effective "law" system. The place is set to grow quickly into a respectable producer of goods, they are beyond the fundamental planning and are well on their way, with a little help from "volunteers" Quinsilla will no longer be the hunters lodge of before, but hoped to be an excellent supply support for the main Surahnian city.
Name: T2…Shayenne Wealth: 7/10 Aura: 8/10 Corruption: 4/10 Other: Boasting /the/ highest point of vision in all of Dragons Cove, and some of the most sought after furs of animals and other such things; Shayenne is a prized jewel in the crown of the DDC lands, straight down the dizzying drop in front of it lies the capital of Dragons Cove, again in DDC territory, namely Didienne. So far, they have very little involvement with military affairs.
Name: T3...Harglen Wealth: 7/10 Aura: 5/10 Corruption: 5/10 Other: Situated between Tarz and Jiluria, and being the closest town in DDC land to the capital, Harglen's people have made a fair bit off of being an important town of trade, after all, alternative routes to the capital borderline on the lawless areas... The people of Harglen are somewhat easily swayed, and so, as long as they carry making their own off of the trade they will carrying on fighting for the DDC. However, they are not quite so ruthless as the other major areas for corruption, Harglen folk are far more diplomatic.
Name: T4…Kaionar Wealth: 9/10 Aura: 7/10 Corruption: 10/10 Other: Probably the roughest settlement within Dragons Cove, here is the meeting place of all types from all sides, each with their own plans in mind. You can get just about anything from here, any service, any item albeit at a hefty price. Of course, you don't question how things are done. Kaionar has an excellent stranglehold over the desert region trade from many routes in many directions, their people developing a reputation that precedes them. Outsiders know they are a necessary evil. In spite of it's thriving criminal world and the bloody street scuffles that make it's day to day, the city itself in the upper districts is a pleasant sight and is a well kept place all over. New war has spread across the town like wildfire; everybody wants a slice of the pie.
Name: T5…Guardian's Haven Wealth: 7/10 Aura: 9/10 Corruption: 1/10 Other: Essentially the town where the elite warriors in training collect from all over, by the Guardian's Mountain- famous for it's mystical properties. Out of all settlements in Dragons Cove, this area shows the most passion to their cause and are strong defenders of their order. With war comes the demand for it's elites. This is the first time elite warriors will ever fight, they are all well mastered in combat, but physical experience has alluded them until now. Recruits are being sought out.
Name: C1…Racksom Wealth: 6/10 Aura: 3/10 Corruption: 9/10 Other:. Zartear recently attacked and successfully took the city, then thusly dominating the surrounding area. The S.R has put into place a number of systems and set a higher standard for welfare within the city. Every person will work as they are told to, and every person can expect a cleaner city from the plague-pit it was before. The S.R, afterall, are very "forward-thinking" Unfortunately, to amass such manpower and obedience requires displine, punishment and law. Special forms of these, that keep the outside-but-influential silent and twist the arms of anybody daring to challenge the leadership. Click for Map
Name: C2…Didienne Wealth: 10/10 Aura: 7/10 Corruption: 7/10 Other: Lying beneath the sheer drop to the town Shayenne, here is the capital of Dragons Cove, magnificently large and beautiful guarded by the mountains, just to the south being the illustrious Amelle Forest and Amelle Falls. Although a hearty city, home of many festivals, one shouldn't assume that the folk here don't occasionally go west to seek help from Kaionar. The capital is the home of the main meeting hall of all D.D.C officials, High Council, Sub Council, GD and other ranks may meet here for absolute decisions. The officials and royalty here are very hesitant, at best, to take action in the war. It's simply something they don't know the slightest bit about.
Name C3…Yarrowitz Wealth: 9/10 Aura: 9/10 Corruption: 6/10 Other: The only DDC controlled settlement in the jungle land of the north west, yet also the strongest in that area because of this. The people here are true artisans and very peaceful, and so are reluctant to join in with any war-like affairs. Once again, the corruption here isn't bred from the locals, but from the Kaionarians to the east that deal with the exquisite goods only to be found here. Violence is thought of as a rarity, though.

| Territory map updated, hooray for M.E taking their first place! What's left of it...On SR territory...Things will be interesting.
Also, every village/town/city has received an update, as well as an addition to the list; "corruption" - a measure of crime and deception etc in that area.
Remember this is just a reference, you do not need to read all of this, but it'll almost certainly come in handy time-to-time.

Ice Dragon

Ice Dragons are one of the oldest dragon breeds on the forum and sport an impressive stat set, with 4* strength, arcane and defensive abilities.
Recently, albino ice dragons have also been discovered. The rumours say to encounter these individuals is certainly good fortune; they are a magnificent sight.
