Evren agreed with himself on the point that the barn-like building was actually quite cozy. He liked it here; the hunting was good, the mountain air was refreshing, and there was plenty of space to stretch his wings. He was a bit worried about Phoebe, though, all alone in a stranger's house, he had no idea what was going on in there or what they were talking about or anything. So, he was definitely eager to meet up with Phoebe and start flying again.

"Thank you!" Phoebe smiled at the maid. By now, she was rather hungry, but she also couldn't wait to go outside and fly again and continue her search. She had needed the rest, and this was certainly a beautiful manor, but already, she was feeling a little cooped up. The room the maid had led her to was a den, and in the middle of the room sat Kol.

Kol smiled and stood as Phoebe entered the room and dipped into a low bow. “I trust you were shown to everything you might need?” Kol asked raising himself back into a standing position and giving the girl a small grin.

“Please, come in and have a seat. There are a few things I would like to ask you.” Kol spoke and showed her to a comfortable looking red chair. He sat down across from her and folded his hands in his lap as a contemplative look came over his face. “About this object you are looking for…do you have any ideas as to where to start looking? Or perhaps your dragon?” He asked wanting to know where to start looking at least, or where not to look. If he was going to help a plan would need to be drawn before they left.

Phoebe smiled back, sat down, and began to explain what she knew. "Evren explained to me, the fact that we haven't found it yet means it is most likely in a living form, a mobile one, like a person or a dragon. And if that's the case, it doesn't know what it really is, it's just... living a normal life. It's a creature of light, so it could possibly be found living in a lively city. But... I have a very dangerous weapon that it will react to. Kokokokokokokokoko." Phoebe had never shared this knowledge with anyone else but Evren. I was nerve-wracking, and the fact that she was hungry wasn't helping at all.

Kol listened to Phoebe with a slight frown on his face. To hear that this item was something living, which would make it rather hard to find unless this person or creature had some out Standish features that would help them distinguish this fellow. He sighed softly to himself as he brought a hand to his head to ease the headache that was beginning to form. Kol then took notice that the woman across from him looked rather uncomfortable. “Forgive me my lady, would you like to get something to eat?” He offered, standing and offering his hand to her this time.

Phoebe recognized the look on Kol's face, it was the look of puzzlement. Evren often wore the same expression when planning on what area to search next. It was a task that she burdened with for the last two years, and if she didn't find it, eventually... well, that wouldn't be good for anyone. What a strange thought... comparing a dragon's facial expressions to an ordinary bird man... with a human face. Then she smiled when she was offered food. "Yes, I would very much like something to eat."

Kol led the way once more to his lavish dining room and happily had food brought out to them. After a pleasant meal, Kol stood from the table and let them back into a library. He offered her a seat and paced slightly. “I think it wise that we head out tomorrow, my lady. So long as you are recovered of course. And I am sure your dragon would like to hear of this.” He chuckled for a moment. “I know Mai’s dragon had to know everything about her for fear she would get lost.” His smiled remained on his face as he recalled the fond memories. He was happy with his life, but he was started to get a little restless and thought there would be no problems with taking on an adventure to get his blood pumping once more. “If you wish talk to your dragon alone, I shall happily escort you out there and leave.” Kol offered, unsure of the temperament of her dragon.

Phoebe laughed at his reluctance to see Evren when she explained. "He won't hurt you, you know, he's a very level-headed guy, and reliable too. Besides, no matter what crazy plan I want to do, he probably won't object as long as he can keep an eye on me... and you too, in this case, I guess." Oh yes, Evren would definitely need to keep on eye on Kol. Years of defending himself from slayers all alone in that cave had made him suspicious and calculating.

Kol looked a little unbelieving at her statements but who was he to really question them? She had done nothing to disprove her loyalties and seemed Innocent enough to not lie to him. He was usually a good judge of character. "Shall we go then?" Kol asked, making his way out to the barn where her good dragon was kept and opened the door slowly, giving time for the dragon to be known of his presence. "I hope you told him we were coming." Kol said, before opening the door all the way and allowing himself to go in. He knew all to well how temperamental dragons could be, even more so with Mai's Scythe Claw. He rolled his eyes at the thought.

Evren had been taking a nap when he heard the voices of Kol and Phoebe outside the barn door. He heard Phoebe's voice as the door opened, "Oh come on, we don't need to make an appointment! He's my friend, and hopefully he'll become your friend too!"

Phoebe wondered what kind of dragons Kol had been in contact with in the past. She had only ever met Evren, but he told her about all the dragons he knew of, and some of them seemed to be very serious and territorial, like spoiled kings or something. "Hey, Evren," Phoebe regarded him, "We have something to tell you."

Kol walked in to see the dragon with sighed ever so slightly. Getting mixed up with another large creature and woman didn't sound good for his health or his relationship with Mai but this girl looked like she really needed help and he was honestly wanting to do just that. Mai would do the same if she were in his position and he kept that in mind as he walked closer to the dragon. He gave a slight bow out of respect as his green eyes scanned the room. "I would be more than happy to accompany you on your journey if you so wish it, good dragon." Kol said standing back up and waiting for the creatures reply.
