Grand Tourney! Fight for the Purse!

ATTENTIONE ALL YE FOLK!

The Grande Kaionar Tourney will be taking place again this year. All fighters from across the land are invited to participate in this Tourney for honuor, glory, and the purse. 10,000 Gold will be awarded to the Champion of this year's Grande Tourney. Come and compete, and let your name be forever recorded into the Hall of Victorie!

This is just an idea that I've been tossing around for the past day or so. Would anyone like to brush up on their fighting skills in one on one combat? I propose a group board type dealieo just for some fun, and set in Kaionar because it's the only city that would probably tolerate these sort of shenanigans. This'll be a public group so it's ouside the plot which means that if your character dies, loses a limb, or is horrendously scarred, it doesn't have to be canon. Here's the break down:

Two competition classes: Dragon and Non Dragon
Bracketed fights: One on One matches. Fighters who advance are paired off with others who succeeded in other brackets and so on and so forth.
Rogue and I will be providing an NPC base to fight against if there is a lack of participants/odd numbers

TOURNEY BETTING RULES

1) You can bet any amount on any contestant
2) You CANNOT bet more than what you currently have in your profile
3) There are three pots: Individual Matches, Semifinal Winners and Championship Title

You can only bet on the winner for the Championship Title
In individual and Semifinal matches you can bet on Win or Draw
- In the event of a three way match due to a draw, you may then bet on Win/Draw

4) The pots for Dragons and Non-Dragons are separate!
5) You may bet on multiple contestants in both Tourney branches (Dragon/Non-Dragon)
6) Betting stops when the intro is made for that round. (i.e., betting for the Bishop vs. Armeno match ends when either Nen or Artemis makes their intro for that character)
7) You CANNOT bet on your own characters or matches involving your character!
8 ) If you are part of the tourney, you CANNOT bet on the Semi-Finals or the Championship until your character has been eliminated or disqualified.

NOTES:
Pot: The total of all bets placed on a match (individual/semi-final/championship)
If the outcome you bet on resolves, you will receive a percentage of the pot for that match based on what you put in
If the outcome you bet on did not resolve, you will lose your bet to the winners of the bet
In the event of a draw, only those who bet on a draw will receive their bet money back. All others will lose their bets.

IN ORDER TO PLACE A BET

PM Zay with the amount that you are betting, what/who you are betting on, win (or draw if applicable) and the pot that you are putting your bet toward (individual/semi-final/championship)
Example: I want to put 700 gold on a win for NPC over Baldasarre in the Individual Pot

The Dragon Tourney has moved on the the Semi-Final Round! Please begin placing your bets for the two matches! Also, remember that those of you not involved in the DRAGON tournament can bet on the Finals round!
