[Rogue X Grimm] Academy times [Foen & Malakath]

Malakath was making his way to the academy minding his own business and avoiding people along the road, looking to the ground the entire time with his hood pulled over his head and his scarf pulled past his nose, he was alone this time as he let his dragon go off and hunt as she much enjoyed to do, he was headed for the academy. To train a little more on his less well known magic skills in a place where he can be treated as someone who is a simple part of society, not being judged or mocked, he looks at a neophyte wandering around at smirks at his idiocy "Heh, children are so naive when given all they want".
He arrived through the gates and walked onwards rather confident of where he was going, but still avoiding eye contact or physical contact

He stifled a whimper as this comparatively tiny man shot up to him he looked down briefly then realised quickly that he was looking right at him, just as quickly he looked up once more to avoid the eye contact, then registered what the little man said trying to move past him the whole time without actually contacting him "Sir, please excuse me I am a regular at the Academy, please ex... ex... ex... excuse me and no I don't need any help" In his bewilderment he managed pulling down his hood as he held his head, allowing his waist length white hair to topple down his back. Gasping and pulling his hood back over his head as quickly as possible, "please, just let me past" he appears to be hyperventilating as the little man was closer to him than he wanted. He then realised something and crouched touching the floor in a shadow created by the light of the sun whispering words inaudible to all but those right next to him. Now ignoring all around him as he did so. Shortly after he becomes a puddle of ichor looking substance that faded into the shadow. Travelling across the sunless ceiling, around and back onto the floor next to the door that allowed him to head further inside, skirting quietly in the hope that he wouldn't be attacked by another little man.

Although he was powerful enough to shade step, it drained him, he came to the Academy to learn to strengthen his mental ability so he could use it a lot without tiring, but now he needed to recover, so he headed for the cafeteria and began eating, he didnt know wy but he was taught that for blood magic to work best he needed a lot of green vegetables and meats, so he was eating a whole rabbit and a head of cabbage, not pausing to look around and observe the others, he saw the man wander past the cafeteria doors as he was obviously looking for something, not quite sure what exactly but it was on his face a look of concern and confusion, one of the female members of the academy approached him and commented on his height to which he didnt respond leaving her to walk away solemnly, he kept his hood up and his scarf round his neck ready to apply as soon as h had finished eating, he was proud that he left before anything serious happened because he knew that he ... changed when he got angry, and not in a good way, he just felt sad at the moment, eating as normal and when he was full, he headed to the cellar of the classroom, where he was in the dark and could practice his dark magic freely

Now in the Cellars he smiled broadly as he began to practice in the dark, placing himself in this dark room gave him the power he needed but also stirred it. He spent about 10 minutes meditating and slowing his breathing, gathering all the energy he could before he began screaming, screaming his vocal chords apart, as the malicious claws of Nocturne clawed at his mind.
He was sealed away, in the dark wailing morosely with pain and anguish, scrabbling for the door and running for any door following that would lead to the sun. He arrived there and tore his hood and scarf away as some high pitched squeal emerged from his mouth that wasn't his. He then stopped, turned and walked quietly away, pulling the hood back over his head and tightening the scarf once more,headed back toward the room when he spun the corner leaving the courtyard and spotted that small man again gasping at how he found him.
He spun the corner behind him and tried to hide amongst a group of mages rather feebly, as his height mixed with his nervous disposition kind of gave him away, but he diligently stayed put resuming his posture so as not to make eye contact with anyone else and keeping his distance

Although secretly impresses by the persistence of the small individual he kept his distance, after a short whilst the impressed feeling he had turned to annoyance, he stopped and pivoted on one foot, and for the first time although he felt unnerved doing it turned and looked directly into this man's eyes allowing him to take in the pale red hues of his pigmentless eyes.
He said to him simply whilst holding back hissing in his tone muffled slightly by his scarf "Why are you so persistent in following me, I'm no-one special, so why stalk me like a sad puppy". He now stood firmly, looking directly at the man before him, awaiting his response, not moving yet as much nervous as annoyed as he saw others now looking into his eyes with confusion;
Malakath was gritting his teeth beneath the red scarf covering his face partly with anger at the surrounding people but mostly due to his nerves. He felt that feeling he always did when faced with situations like these and began to hear his own heartbeat, and the voice he often did in his head when he had these rushes that repeated the words “Let me out … Let me out … Let me out”.
He said aloud “No!” for some reason and now the students around him looked at him with confusion, he fell silent, awaiting the answer of this little man

He looked surprised by this comeback and said rather confused "Wait, you don't mind me, unsettling at all?". This confusion in his own mind made him doubt everyone else in the academy and wether their gasps were just odd breaths, that's when he removed his scarf and hood, which he never ever does. He let his long white hair trail down his back and clenched his teeth and looked hard at the man in front of him. Although he was trying to smile, it could easily be imagined as a grimace as he was not used to smiling. "My apologies, i simply assumed that a person of my disposition would come as a shock to you, and attempted to avoid you and myself the awkward gasps and stares that are commonly associated with myself".

He then glanced around observing everyone else staring goggle eyed at him, for although magic was their forte, odd looking people with mysterious differences were not, some took a double take and walked away, whilst some simply gawked at his odd features. He noticed these people and replaced his hood once more, not his scarf this time however as it was only the direct confrontation that could see his face "I do not wish for anything to happen, i know i am different, a freak, but still why do you think you share a common item with me because your friend practices dark magic, at least you have friends" the final word trailed off his mouth as he hissed it, realising in his own mind this annoying little man was gloating about having friends in his life, he clenched his fists now. Attempting to release the anger that was bubbling up inside of him. he said slowly, and quietly, but loud enough to be heard "I would prefer it if i wasn't, mocked by people".

Not entirely sure if he was joking with the much better comment or whether it was a backhanded joke he just looked at him and said rather monotonously "... Thanks". He was used to comments but when they weren't negative he was confused exactly how to react. He listens to this little man and listens to his comments and replies in series to each one slowly realising that this mad looking individual was actually speaking sense "Yes I am sure i have been here before, I grew up for some of my life here, though it has been a while since and I'm not entirely confident where I am going".
The fact that he wasn't the weirdest thing this an had seen pleased him somewhat and he smiled in response, it wasn't the nicest thing anyone had said to him as he still fell under the category of weird but still, the effort was there at least. He listened to this man further and took on his advice and began questioning if he was right, he responded simply though "I do avoid people, but that was due to conditioning as a child, also I don't want to wear the scarf and hod all the time but I have to otherwise I burn under the sun extremely easily, I've never acted high and mighty, and people never wanted to be my friends" He was heartbroken, not because the things that the man had said per se but because they were all true, he frowned again and asked simply "Well if you wanted to talk to me, and now you are, I guess I'll introduce myself. I'm Malakath" and he extended his hand toward this man.

Malakath smiled at this statement "Indeed it was, not sure whether i was going to have a new potion tested on me or whether i was learning spells. I learned a lot here, and then i realized the best place to learn is out there in the real world." He looked solemn once more, like the outside world was full of sadness and strife.

Malakath accepted the young man's gesture back and moved to him, taking up a position next to him as if he was an escort for the young Foen "I appreciate the assistance, I don't receive it often and appreciate when i do, so again, thanks". He followed this young man and said quickly "I wouldn't mind to train a little, if you'd accompany me to the training ground I'd be glad to do a little sparring with you?" Malakath looked eager as if wishing to size him up, hoping his ability for magic outweighed his ability to grow taller somewhat considerably as he diligently followed Foen wherever he would take him.

He frowned for a small while at his words "Well that is a rather large disappointment, I was hoping to do something other than read during my stay here, although I do agree about the fire mages, no defense is there, I am an Earth user myself, so snuffing out flames is somewhat a specialty of mine, and with me it wouldn't be burns youd be healing, but broken bones" He smiled at this Foen fellow and began walking turning back and saying "If i recall the library is this way." He smiled at him and continued on, blissfully loving the people not caring about him since there are weirder things to be seen.

As he moved through the halls he stopped to observe a pair of novice pyromancers going at it and laughed as they just stood there throwing fireballs aimlessly at one another, he smiled as he watched, then frowned at them both and sighed "So much to learn, all power and no technique"
