Two bachelors and a girl- Tajy, Eldar, and Tegan

Rasera looked at the form that popped out of the shadows and looked hard at it. There was something thing familiar about him, bit with his face covered and a gruff voice it was rather hard to tell. She was a little taken back when he said that he wanted her and looked over De'lure's shoulder. "What do you want with me?" She asked, her voice more curious than fearful. She decided to stay behind De'lure for now, knowing her fighting skills weren't to par but if the man went for her she was confident that De'lure would either run with her, or give her a chance to run. He was defending her thus far, so it seemed logical enough.

"Do..I know you...?" She asked, tilting her head as if trying to get a more clear picture of the man. There was a certain vibe she felt from him that didn't drive fear into her as it should, but there was just something off. She felt a sharp pain run through her head and she brought her hand up to rub the area. Though as fast as it came, it was gone. Odd.

Del'ure was glad to notice that Rasera stayed well behind him and didn't think about playing the hero herself by putting her body into the shotline. It was clear from the few words and gestures the opponent made that he wanted the girl. The demon did not care as such but he was not going to hand over anyone to a random thug who wanted to play the big guy. He didn't work like that. He almost considered Rasera a job. He had offered to take her back to wherever it was she had wanted to go to in the Northern part of town and that was exactly what he was doing. They had not yet arrived at said destination, thus he was not going to let her out of his sight just yet. It did not have anything to do with any sort of interest in the girl's body or personality, it was simply the way he worked - most of the time.

Apparently, he had hit a nerve however by calling the man a coward. Almost grinning, Del'ure considered this when Rasera spoke up, asking the person in the shadows what he wanted with her. Indeed, he was interesting in knowing that as well. Frowning, he kept staring at the masked man, wondering what really was behind this. It had almost seemed as if the man had hesitated before replying, or was he just imagining things. Either way, he kept a close eye on the man, who made as less movements as possible and was barely speaking enough to even clearly distinguish what tone of voice he actually had.

Seeing that there was nothing more to add to the questions Rasera had asked, Del'ure kept quiet, although he was curious to know why on earth she thought she knew the man. She did not seem like the kind of person to hang out with thugs, but then again - he almost laughed at the thought - she was currently hanging out with him, and he certainly was no angel. He didn't change anything about his defensive stance, still keeping his hand up before Rasera, wanting to shield her from whatever it was the man had planned. The next move was his.

Mask had thought this was going well. Until Rasera spoke with no hint of fear in her voice. He supposed that was good, but at the same time he didn't scare her, at all? Why did he feel slightly disappointed by that. Maybe she didn't need his protecting anymore. He wasn't entirely sure what to do now then. He supposed he could leave, or maybe just answer the question. What would a thug want with a girl? Well... money... and normally they wanted a toy. Mask wasn't sure about asking for either of these. He'd need something else. Something witty that said exactly what he was trying to do, without coming out and saying it at first. Still, he wasn't entirely sure there was an actual way to say that. Hmm.

Of course, that's when Rasera asked if she knew him. Mask felt like he was going to fall over. Was he really this obvious? He sighed and put his hand to his head. Seriously, she could tell that easily. "Not even a hint of fear Rasera? None at all? Am I really not that scary?" His tone was a little hurt and he pulled the bandanna down from over his mouth. He had really wanted to test her, but he supposed she was too smart for his own good. Mask leaned against the side of the ally, though not once did his eyes leave the male. He didn't let his hood come down either. He was watching the male with distrust, but was good at keeping it out of his voice.

"How am I supposed to test you if I can't even sneak up on you?" he asked. He was silent for a moment before going on. "And before you ask, I came here looking for you. You've been gone for a while, I was getting worried. Though, I see I had nothing to fear. Seems you had someone else helping you along." He did a poorer job this time of keeping his tone even. He really didn't like this other male, and he wasn't entirely sure what it was about him he didn't like. He just didn't like him. Not like he'd tried anything. Maybe Mask was just being too over protective. He wasn't sure, but he knew he didn't like this man.

Rasera stood calmly, still looking over Du'lure's arm and staying behind him in case this really did get dirty. When the gruff voice suddenly became one she knew, and it was scolding her at that a bright smile came upon her features. She felt laughter bubble to the surface and put a hand on De'lure's shoulder to show him further that she knew who the mysterious man in front of them was.

"Am I supposed to fear you, Mask?" She asked in a coy tone, placing a hand on her slender hip as a wide grin spread across her face. A more serious look came upon her fair features as he mentioned that he had been worried for her. She did not realize how long she had taken. "I'm sorry Mask..." She apologized, looking up to him for a short moment with a pink stain of a blush on her face.

She looked up when she remembered De'lure was still there and her face grew even more red. "Sorry! Mask, this is De'lure, he was going to help me get back to the inn." A more dry look came to her face as she looked away, "You know my sense of direction is terrible and I had gotten lost. He is a nice man." She smiled up to De'lure truly meaning her comment. He had been there, ready to protect someone he didn't know and help her even before then.

What came next, Del’ure had really not expected. People thinking they knew whoever it was who wanted to attack them, happened regularly, or it was often more a rhetorical question to throw a thug off guard if they were amateurs. However, that this man flat-out just replied that he was surprised she did not even show a hint of fear at this incident, was a surprise. Who in their right mind would stalk a friend of theirs to see if they were easily frightened?

Feeling Rasera’s hand on his shoulder and hearing the easy tone in her voice, Del’ure was sure that nothing more would happen in this and that the man was really someone she knew and not just playing a game. He lost his ready stance as soon as it was clear that Rasera really knew the man in the shadows. Del’ure raised a questioning eyebrow at the man’s tone towards his own person however, and returned the glare of this man who still refused to reveal all of him by leaving the hood firmly in place. The demon’s eyes stared back at the man and he could almost feel the masked man’s displeasure and dislike. Not like it was fazing him one bit. He couldn’t care less if he was liked by this man or not. It was merely intriguing.

Even more intriguing was the fact that Rasera was flushing bright red at the fact of seemingly having forgotten about his presence while chattering with this man, she referred to as Mask. “An unusual but apparently rather fitting name,” Del’ure mused as he nodded towards Mask. “Pleased to make your acquaintance.” It was a phrase more than anything else. So far, Del’ure was not sure if he was pleased to have met this man, he was too sneaky for his likings, but he was not decided yet on what to think about him. He was pleased to see however that Rasera seemed to think so highly of him. Of course, he really had been a nice guy towards her, helping her, escorting her and now even wanting to protect her. Sometimes, he surprised himself by how nice he could be. “Thank you for your kind words, Rasera,” he purred, “but I could hardly let you wander around by yourself and completely lost. Common courtesy, is it not?”

Mask shrugged and smiled as she spoke coyly. "Oh I don't know, do you?" he asked with a teasing tone. He pushed off the wall and came out of the darkness more, moving closer to the two of them. When she spoke up on the late hour, he shrugged once more. Letting it off as if nothing truly was bugging him about it. That wasn't the truth, as he'd honestly been worried sick. Still, he didn't want her to feel bad. It had taken him forever to get used to Tarz, and he'd probably still get lost today if he wasn't all that careful. "It's fine," he said softly. "I was just making sure nothing happened." He was still counting on the hood to shadow his face. Or rather his eyes.

Mask supposed he was going to have to let go of his unjustified distrust for now. Yet still, he was still going to be on his guard around this man. Just, he'd have to act more relaxed. Still he rolled his eyes as he comment on how Rasera praised him. Ok, time to stop acting like a five year old, he thought to himself. Mask pushed his hood down and exposed his face completely. He smiled softly. "It's more of what people call me, not my actual name. While I prefer Mask, my name is Akar," he explained with an even tone. Almost cheerful. He was working on it. "Apologies for earlier," he said rubbing the back of his head. "I was a little worried you might try something with Rasera," he said honestly. "I hadn't intended to be caught, and I acted stupidly when I had been." At least he wasn't going to make excuses for himself.

Rasera felt a small bit of color come to her face at the sheer satisfaction in De'lure's voice. There was no mistaking the gentle notes in his tone that he was used to talking to women. She gave him a small smile in return and put her attention back on Mask as he moved towards them. She didn't know why she called him Mask still, but calling him by his real name felt...intimate, and brought a fresh bought of color to her cheeks when she thought of calling him by it.

Rasera immediately felt a shift in Mask's emotions, and it was an unusual sensation as she physical felt the change come off from him. At once, she felt pain slicing through her mind and she brought a hand to her temple to ease the ache that began to spread. She was more centered on Mask's behavior though, feeling a twinge of guilt that he would have to worry over her safety. And now he had even owned up to his mistake with De'lure.

After a moment of silence between the three, Rasera decided to perk up looking at both the boys. "De'lure would you at least like to join us to get something to eat? Its the least I could do and I know the kitchen at our inn stays open rather late....where ever the inn might be..." The topic made her remember her terrible sense of direction and she looked around them in slight frustrated confusion, still not having a clue as to where they were. A thought suddenly came to her and she looked to Mask, "If...your okay with it..." she mumbled, having not thought that he may not like the man and wouldn't want to 'over welcome' his stay with them.

Del’ure was almost chuckling at Rasera’s ease for bringing colour to her cheeks but he held back, not wanting to make her blush even more. Mask seemingly was able to do that himself however. It almost seemed as if something was going on between the two of them, or maybe not quite, but something definitely was in the air and it seemed rather intimate, making the demon feel a little out of place. However, such feelings were not usually something he cared about. Sometimes, he even quite liked to make people feel even more uncomfortable in situations such as these, but this was not the right time to be doing anything stupid.

Del’ure nodded. “I understand, Akar. Or do you prefer to be called Mask after all?” he asked, glancing at Rasera, who was doing exactly that, namely calling the man ‘Mask’ and not ‘Akar’ even though she had known him for longer now already, and most certainly knew that Mask was not his real name. “Do not worry yourself, a lot of people would react like you and would try to protect the people they care about. I can assure you however, it was not my attention to let any harm come to her.” The demon once more glanced at Rasera, frowning as she touched her temple and seemed to be battling with some sort of pain. He was about to ask if she was alright, when she lifted her head and spoke to the two men.

Smiling at the woman, he replied: “I would gladly accept your invitation, my lady, if your companion agrees to it as well.” He looked at Mask, or Akar?, while speaking those last words, the question open on his face as well. He knew the man was not happy to have him around and he didn’t want to impose himself either, but he rarely waved off an offer for good food, especially when it came from a woman. However, he also had to head out soon again, so he wouldn’t feel any qualms if Mask refused his company.

Mask looked over at Rasera as he caught that motion of her hand going to her head. He wondered if she was ok or not, and he felt a little worried about her. Of course, he was brought back to reality when she asked this male if he wanted to come eat with them. Mask wanted to say no when it was asked of him if he minded. He wanted to say no, thank the man, grab Rasera's hand, and leave. Of course, that wouldn't be very proper of him, and as the man had pointed out, he was helping Rasera. Mask owed him in return. So, as grudgingly annoying this would be, Mask truly had one choice. Agree.

"You may call me Akar," Mask said simply. He smiled at Rasera and the male. "And I thank you for your watchfulness of Rasera," he said with a tone that was actual completely genuine. Maybe he wasn't only good at hiding his face. "Of course I'd agree to this, it sounds like a great idea," Mask went on. "After all, it shall be my repayment to you for helping Rasera home." Was he actually feeling jealous of this man? But why should he? It wasn't like anything between De'lure and Rasera was going on. But the way she kept smiling at him. No, he couldn't be jealous. That was foolish. She was just like a sibling to Mask, that was all.

Rasera clapped her hands together softly, glad the two of them were getting a long and smiled. "Good! Then shall we go?" She asked, looking at each of them for a moment, her blue eyes landing on them each for a moment before looking back out into the city and in the direction she thought De'lure had been taking her before. Of course, it was more like the exact opposite and she was headed towards the deeper part of the city with no knowledge that she was. She's had a horrible sense of direction since she could remember and as she grew it had only gotten worse. When she was little she had gotten lost so many times in the woods behind the home of her adoptive father.

Del’ure was a little surprised by the ease with which Akar accepted the fact that Rasera had invited him to come along for their dinner. This is certainly going to be interesting, he thought, but he simply inclined his head in thanks. “I am glad you think so, Akar, and I too thank you for your generosity.” The demon was a little worried about the fact that he started to sound more and more formal, but it might be the best to keep it that way for the time being. Akar didn’t trust him and he had better watch his back for the time being, even if the masked one was more than likely not going to do anything stupid while Rasera was in their presence. Of that, Del’ure was absolutely certain.

As the woman happily clapped her hands and wanted to walk on to the inn, she and Akar had been staying in, he rolled his eyes in amusement and with a light “Eh, Rasera?”, he looked at the woman and pointed into the opposite direction to where she had wanted to head. “We’ve just come from that way,” he added in explanation. “I shall leave it up to you to lead the way to the inn,” Del’ure told Akar, “as I was merely escorting her to this part of town but I do not know where it was you were staying.” The demon stuck to the notion of this certainly going to be interesting. The way in which Akar was looking at him and especially the way he was looking at Rasera promised for a fun evening. Del’ure was already beginning to wonder whether he shouldn’t try and play with those two for a bit just to see how they’d react but maybe he should just stick to observing them in order to find out whether there was something going on between the two or not. The spark was just too obvious for there not to be something, but sometimes the sparks were there even though people did not act on them, it was definitely something the demon would keep an eye on. An intriguing business, this human love-thing.

Mask nodded his head to De'lure's thanking of him. He smiled again at the man, though he could tell form the expression on his face and based on his own thoughts they were both skeptical of each other. That was actually rather amusing. Speaking of which, he jumped slightly when Rasera clapped. He blinked and looked over to her. "Yes we shall," he said happily. Of course, he got more amused when she suddenly started to walk in the wrong direction. He stifled a laugh and held his ground. He'd actually been contemplating how to follow her and get her in the right direction when the man spoke and told her so. Mask couldn't help the amused smile that spread across his face when he told her.

Mask put his hand over his mouth and couldn't help chuckling. He was truly used to Rasera getting lost, but it was always amusing. He tried not to embarrass her too much though. He knew she was sensitive. "This way Rasera," he said gently to her as he headed the right way. He didn't like turning his back on the two of them, so he only walked a few steps away and then paused and waited for them both before he'd go on again. They were actually pretty close to the inn from her anyways, so it didn't take long before Mask would bring them all to the front of it. "Here is where we're staying," he said simply. He smiled softly and pushed open the door. He held it open for them both. "After you," he said warmly.

Color crept into Rasera's face when she heard De'lure, and then Mask tell her she had been going the wrong way. She knew she shouldn't have tried to lead the way but something in her wanted to get these two boys to play on nice terms and get to dinner swiftly. She cleared her throat gently, turning on her heel and fell in step with De'lure. Something had been bugging Rasera since she had made physical contact with De'lure and she kinda wanted to ask him, afraid of what his answer would be.

Before she could ask anything however she found that they were back at the inn. How had he gotten back so easily?! She had a slightly dry look on her face over her own inability to navigate around anywhere but she decided not to say anything, grateful to be back. "Thank you." she said to Mask, walking in and finding a table for the three of them to sit. She sat down and look for a waitress to call her over to order. She looked at De'lure and decided she would ask him her question in private when they had the chance to do so.

Rasera’s blush was charming and Del’ure, just like Akar, couldn’t help from keeping the grin completely from his face. However, he also noticed that Akar was trying not to let her notice too much and followed suit. There was no need to embarrass her and from what he had learned so far, from her behaviour and from Akar’s reaction just now, it was definitely not the first time she had gotten so confused about directions.

As Akar walked a few steps into the right direction, Del’ure made to walk beside him, merely waiting for Rasera to fall into step with them as well. The walk was a brief one, and Del’ure nodded his head to Akar, as the latter held the door open for them. Was the man warming up to him or was the friendliness still partially faked? The demon couldn’t quite tell. Quickly ushering Rasera in to prevent the look on her face to develop into something nastier – like tears for example, he did not like tears – he said: “There we go, my lady. Now if you would be so kind as to find us a table..” But Rasera was already off to secure them good seating and they were soon joined together at a table.

Frowning as he saw the brief expression on Rasera’s face, he wondered what it was that was bugging her. The way she had looked at him.. what had he done? Or what had she noticed? It would be unusual for a human being to notice anything different about him to most other human beings, so he brushed the notion away as if it had been nothing.

“This is a rather comfortable, little place,” Del’ure nodded appreciatively as he looked around a bit, taking in a few details, which he just as quickly forgot again. “Now, what would you recommend to eat?” he muttered, though he was talking more to himself in this respect than to the other two. “What brings you two to this forsaken place? At least, in my opinion, it is rather sleepy.” It was nice from time to time but it gets boring quickly, in his opinion at least. And then there was this nagging thought at the back of his mind that he should get out of here before there was an angry husband on his tail again.

Akar smiled. He supposed Tarz's inn was one of the best he'd been to. He looked around slightly, taking in the entire place. It brought back so many memories as it always did. He'd pretty much grown up half the time here. As for eating, he honestly wasn't that hungry, nor was he really a drinker. Rather he was more here to look after Rasera with this new male. But he supposed he'd eat something eventually. He looked between Rasera and Del'ure, then over to the bar-ish area. He normally wasn't used to sitting at an actual table.

"Personally I live around here, sorta. I'm more or less just traveling around to look for someone," he shrugged as he returned his look back to his two companions. Standing up he looked between them. "You guys want something to drink? I'll go get it," he offered. He'd wait for there orders if they wanted anything, then he'd made his escape to go to the bar to order the drinks. Not much of a drinker himself he knew he'd only be drinking water. Alcohol never sit right on his tastes. Nothing did that had anything to do with the liquid fire and such.

Rasera noted some sort of antsy tendency in Mask that she hadn't before and wondered briefly if he didn't like the crowded area. That would make sense, considering he was normally by himself but She'd leave her assumptions for another time. She ask Mask for some water as well, more so thirsty than anything, and had never even had a drop of alcohol in her life she wouldn't even know what it tasted like. She knew the smell that and that was enough to ward her off.

Once alone with De'lure, she leaned in on the table as her blue eyes studied him. "I've been meaning to ask you this..." She said, ensuring she was close enough to him that when she spoke people couldn't hear her and he still would be able to. "I'm not sure how else to put this, so don't get offended but....You aren't human...are you..?" She asked, unsure even for herself how she knew but when she had touched him...put her arm around his there was something else there...something not human and she felt it.

The waitress quickly came to take their orders for food and before Del’ure could even tell Akar that it was not necessary for him to get up to get drinks, the masked man was already gone and Rasera was leaning over to him. The demon was a little unsure as to what to think of this because he knew that Akar would see her whispering to him and he didn’t want to push the man’s buttons. Not just yet at least. He had a rather good idea however how he could manage to make the man be even more on edge than he already was due to the demon’s presence.

However, when the fragile woman spoke, Del’ure was surprised at the phrasing of the first words – why would he be offended? – but then he almost choked. What had she just said? “What do you mean?” he asked briefly, frowning at her but not giving away any of his thoughts. For anyone it would look like he was wondering if she still was master of her own senses but in reality, he was wondering how on earth she had even been able to notice. Nobody had ever noticed, at least not by merely touching him and it came as quite the surprise, almost a shock even when Rasera asked him this.

“Not entirely human?” he repeated. “What would give you that idea?” He was curious as to why she had come to such a conclusion and wanted to know more details before he decided if he was going to admit to it or not. After all, this information might be dangerous in the wrong hands, though he was fairly certain Rasera was not one of those dangerous ones. Even if some fragile women were less fragile than they pretended to be, he had a hard time believing that both him and Akar would be so easily fooled.

Akar shifted where he stood by the bar. He waited and watches those peoples who were around him. His attention wasn't on Rasera or Del'ure. He didn't need to be watching them for any reason. He may not trust the man, but any fool would know better than to do something in public. Even if he did, there'd be a reaction by the people around them and Akar would know. Therefor he paid a more careful focus to the drunks around him. This may have been Tarz and not a place such as Caspen, but it didn't mean there weren't drunks here. Every inn had drunks. That was just how it went it seemed.

He didn't really need to order anything special seeing as he wasn't really given an order by the man, so instead he decided just to get three waters. When the inn keeper started towards Akar to take an order he saw what was coming next before he could react. One of the drunks had been starting to get a little loud. He knocked over another Man's drink and ended up falling into said Man's wife's lap. Instinct told Akar to stay away from the fight, but manors told him otherwise. The man pulled a dagger out and was threatening the drunk. The inn keeper looked scared and the rest of the inn got quiet. Akar shifted, not sure yet what would happen. But he was going to stop the man if he tried to hurt the drunk.

Rasera watched De'lure's reaction carefully and it was enough to tell her that she wasn't completely wrong. She put her elbows on the table and leaned her chin in her hands, her blue eyes never leaving his face. "Your not human at all, are you?" She asked, keeping her tone quiet as she looked around to ensure no one was listening. "I've been able to tell things about people for a while now. And I don't know what you are yet, just not human." Her head was pounding, hurting from using her powers without knowing it. Her ability was unknown to her so it was a lot like blowing a bubble. When the power was used, the bubble was formed taking shape and doing what it does. But since the power was being used unknowingly and the energy being sucked out without knowledge the bubble would pop without energy to sustain it evenly.

Rasera reached out with one hand and with just a light touch placed it on De'lure's arm. Instant pain laced through her head and she drew her arm back like she had been burned. Once she recovered from the power use and gave a small smile to De'lure. "I don't plan on telling anyone." She said, making sure that he knew she wasn't that type of person.

“I know you won’t,” Del’ure replied, eyeing Rasera carefully. He wasn’t the kind of person to threaten, nor was he the kind of person to willfully harm someone harmless merely because of a few words, but this was slightly different. “The pain you feel when touching me,” he whispered, looking into her eyes, “is nothing in comparison to what you will feel should anyone find out.”

It was not an idle threat, though it would not necessarily be him who would be causing the pain. There were too many out there who could do that for him, and who would if they thought that Rasera had any kind of information on the demon.

Before Del’ure could add anything else, if only explanatory since his words had been rather harsh, there was a commotion not too far away from the bar, making him sigh inwardly. Those annoying little drunks always had to get on everyone else’s nerves. Not that they did not have a right to have a place to drink in, and it wasn’t like the demon himself wasn’t sometimes part of the drunk community, but was it really necessary to disrupt the rest of society?

He swiftly turned around to see what the problem was and saw the drunk flailing unhappily to get out of the woman’s lap while her other half wanted to beat the shit out of the drunk. Akar was standing only a few steps away, on the ready to intervene. “Stay here,” he told Rasera before quickly getting up and moving to stand beside Akar. A brief look at the masked man told him that he wanted to keep any bloodshed from happening. Del’ure wouldn’t mind a brief fight but he seemed to be in the wrong place for it. The scared face of the innkeeper told him enough about the frequency of these events and the extreme reaction of the bar patron as well. Sighing, he said into the quiet. “Just put up your dagger, the man was about to leave anyways.”

Akar looked over when Del'ure joined him. He gave a half smile at the other man's back up. Less was likely to happen so long as they were both there. He crossed his arms over his chest, in no manor to try to look threatening, but merely to show that he'd back up the man next to him. His eyes were set on the man with the dagger who looked up between the two of them. He still looked incredibly annoyed and irritated. Akar kept any emotion from his face, a feat he knew rather well from his past. The drunk man finally ended up on the floor, and the women stood and hid behind her husband, peering over his shoulder shyly. They really didn't seem like that much of bad people.

The husband finally put the dagger away a sheath at his side. Akar relaxed slightly then, and shook his head only when the man turned to comfort his wife and ignored the two men without saying anything. The drunk man however wasn't finished. He obviously didn't want to leave, and Akar read that as he staggered to his feet and turned on the two of them instead. "Hey," he said wobbling on his feet, his speech slurred to almost incoherent. "No one sssays I'm goin' anywere." He staggered forwards as he aimed a hit for Del'ure. Akar gripped his other arm, to stop him short of connecting his punch, even if he thought Del'ure wasn't going to stop it. "Now what?" he asked looking at Del'ure.

Rasera felt a small shiver down her spine at the very real threat De'lure had given her and for a short second she thought she saw a demon behind his handsome features. Is that what he was? He head began to throb again but she just nodded, agreeing to his threat sat back in her chair to get some distance between them. She didn't have to wait long though as a commotion started at the bar before she could even think to get up and help Mask though, De'lure was up and telling her to stay.

Rasera remained where she was looking on at the fight that was about to erupt she grew nervous when the man lunged at De'lure and stood from her seat but the drunks movements were easily stopped by Mask. She relaxed slightly seeing as how the fight was already over and waited to see what they would do next.

The man who felt insulted after the drunk had buried his face in his wife’s lap put up his dagger again quickly enough and Del’ure was pleased with the outcome, even though he wouldn’t have minded a quick fisticuffs. However, it was better this way, far better even. Though the drunk seemed to be willing to fulfill the demon’s little desire as he tried to aim a hit at him, but Del’ure merely looked at the man, disappointed in the lack of strength and aim behind the punch, which was then interrupted by Akar either way.

Following suit, Del’ure quickly grabbed the other arm, the one Akar had not grabbed and looked at Mask: “Well, I think it’s time for him to leave now. Between the two of us we shouldn’t have any trouble getting him out the door. He’s a lightweight and far too drunk to do anything about it anyways.” The barkeeper gave an overly enthusiastic nod at this, which Del’ure caught from the corner of his eye. Grinning, the demon turned towards the man and jokingly said: “You might owe us a drink for this.”

Dragging the loudly protesting and struggling drunk along the inn with Akar, the demon sighed. “Just give up the fight, you don’t stand a chance against the two of us and you’ve outstayed your welcome. If you’re looking for a fight, go to a nastier place than this.” Any thoughts of Rasera and what she had said were pushed to the back of his mind and he hoped they would stay there for quite a while, and he hoped even more that it would be the same for Rasera. For her sake.

Akar nodded his head. "Defiantly time for him to leave," he agreed as he turned his eyes to the drunk man. For just a moment he looked up to where Rasera was, making sure she was ok before he started to help Del'ure half carry, half drag the drunk man away from the bar and towards the door. The drunk man was ignoring what Del'ure said, but Akar was pretty sure once he was outside they wouldn't have any trouble with him. He was starting to tire in his attempt to resist, and by the time the two men would have him to the door, he'd stopped trying to struggle all together.

"There now," Akar said smoothly. "Much easier." He pulled the door open and looked to Del'ure. "I say just toss him onto his butt in the street," he offered amused. He'd be ready to do whatever the man wanted to however. Once the job would be done, Akar would let the door shut behind them and smile at the male, though still not liking him completely. "Well, now," he'd start. "It's not proper to keep a lady waiting," he'd say with a grin before heading back to the bar to get the waters and bring them back to the table.

Rasera looked on the fight with some amount of awe. Could it really even be considered a fight? She smiled to herself, a non human and her love, he felt so safe. Despite the very real danger floating around them, Rasera was happy. She had powers, and while untrained and currently painful to use she just had to learn how to hone them. She watched as the two men escorted the drunk on out of the bar before relaxing in her seat.

A slight frown touched the corner of her lips however when she thought about where they were heading. Racksom. It was such a grand city and if Akar didn't find his sister there then what was he going to do next. They had been all over the country looking for this woman. Was she still alive? For his sake, she hoped so.
